Warm & welcoming hosts who frequently cleaned the communal areas ... 29/06/2017

Warm & welcoming hosts who frequently cleaned the communal areas and checked all was ticking over well (without bearing overbearing). The site is tidy, and really felt off the beaten track as all we could hear was birdsong! Loads of sinks and the shower unit especially felt v modern (and a reasonable amount of hot water for 50p). Having the bins separated into recyclables etc was a great touch. I think this place is a bargain for how friendly and clean it is, and we will certainly want to come back again!

    Disliked:

Not a dislike for us but I can imagine that in peak times only having one female and one male toilet could become an issue. However, it is a small site so bearing that in mind it was fine for us. Equally, wifi signal is low (but that's what escaping is all about!)

We enjoyed the peaceful rural location .Clean facilities and helpful site managers . Although the pond was small there were plenty of fish to catch and it is ideal for younger anglers. The village was just a short walk away and had a well stocked convince store, take away and village pubs.

As a lone parent with young children one of which has autism we were looking for a quiet site for our first ever camping trip to ease ourselves in and we weren't disappointed a lovely small and well kept site. Very friendly and helpful owners, clean and well kept facilities plus a field of beautiful horses for neighbours also plenty of information available as to local shops attractions and even take aways. We are already looking to revisit in the summer holidays if small and peaceful is what you're looking for I would highly recommend
