We had a great stay at Westerby Farm. Flat pitches, clean facilities and the option of a cooked breakfast which was much appreciated by hungry cyclists! Christine and Richard were great hosts.

On first sight seemed a bit of an unusual set up but good facilities and all quite compact without being crowded.

    Disliked:

Probably due to the time of year (harvest time) and flatness of the land there was noise one night from I assume farming activity but not from the site.

Not enough info about the requirements to be able to use the lake for fishing, although this may have been down to me missing something obvious.

The campsite, including the tent, utensils etc. were clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and supplied us with a fire pit and wood which we sat next to whilst stargazing in the evening. Good play equipment for kids and nice quiet surroundings. We will definitely return if we are in the area again and can highly recommend.
