Keep things chill at Westerby Farm Caravan and Campsite, a small-scale Cambridgeshire spot that welcomes folks to the peace and quiet of rural East Anglia. Liked Peaceful campsite with beautiful and clean amenities. We stayed in the carousel and it was a wonderful space. Our whole family (inc teens) enjoyed switching off and being present with each other. We all enjoyed the stay.

Tiddywinkle yurt

Liked Communication on check in details was clear and easy, accommodation beautiful and comfortable. The site is peaceful and relaxing. A small issue with the hot tub was dealt with very quickly and efficiently which was greatly appreciated. Washing up area good with freezer space if needed. The 2pm check in time is generous and makes your time on site even more enjoyable.

Disliked Personally the quilt on the bed in Winnie was too thick and hot for the summer months.

The Old Stables cabin (four person)

Liked Everything was great from start to finish. Got instructions from the owners a day before and everything was has they said. The place was clean and Smelt great and the surrounding area was nice as well. The hot tub was already warmed for us and also cleaned and then breakfast brought to us in the morning was a good way to end.

Local attractions

While you're staying here, make sure to take a peek at Peckover House and Garden (10 minutes' drive), an 18th-century country estate in the gorgeous Isle of Ely area. For a bigger day out, you could also take yourself off to the Sandringham Estate (30 minutes) over the border in Norfolk, where there are 60 acres of landscaped gardens to explore plus extensive rolling parklands. Got birds on the brain? There's a lot of feathered life in this part of East Anglia, so take the opportunity to learn more about it at WWT Welney, a stunning wetland centre home to camouflaged hides where you can spot a range of species. You could also learn how to handle bigger birds of prey at Fens Falconry (15 minutes), a locally run company based on the outskirts of Wisbech. For more family days out, set your satnav in the direction of Church Farm Stow Bardolph (20 minutes), a rare breeds centre with a playground and tea rooms, or drive over to the north Norfolk coast (40 minutes) to splay yourself out on its splendid sandy beaches.
