  • Spacious off-grid pop-up site on a family-run farm in Norfolk
  • Just off the Wherryman's Way and five minutes from The Broads
  • Café, farm shop and swimming pool with showers a short walk away
Local grub, boating and wildlife-packed walks are quite the treat from Yare Camping, part of a family-run working farm on the edge of The Broads. Just off the Wherryman’s Way, a walking route through the Norfolk countryside, this spacious off-grid site is deliciously well-situated for delving into local goodies, paddleboarding, canoeing and boating on The Broads or walking to your heart’s content. Locally-produced foodstuff isn't far away here, as the site is a short walk away from a self-service farm shop laden with local eats, as well as a café and patisserie (perhaps for a morning coffee and a pastry). Down this way, there’s a swimming pool with showers available for hire subject to availability too. On site, you’ll have be in a good spot to take some downtime in privacy, thanks to the spacious pitches. You may have a dog by your side if you wish, as well-behaved canines are permitted. As for amenities, the site has drinking water and a basic toilet for convenience. While local waterside pubs with food and real ale are within five minutes' drive of the site, it’s not just foodies are catered to around here. Those of you who are keen on wildlife will be happy to find that Wheatfen Broad’s nature reserve is five minutes’ walk away. There’s likely to be more wildlife along the long-distance Wherryman’s Way, which has eight circular walks for walkers or cyclists.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Amazing site, large camping area, brilliant farm shop and café and right next to a nature reserve, with option of booking a heated pool all to yourself, for the price it's incredible.

Disliked WiFi didn't reach super well out in the camping area and signal was poor (not the camp runners fault of course, its just something to note)

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Peaceful part of the Norfolk countryside. Great location for the city or the Broads. Lovely walks (Wheatfen, Wherrymans way) on the doorstep. Campsite is a huge field which they cap bookings for low density camping. Basic but functional facilities, great value.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked Very relaxed, peaceful atmosphere at the site - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The field is large and only has a few people at once, so we never felt intruded on or like we were taking up too much space. The farm shop was excellent, and the pool and nature reserve were lovely to pass time.

Above all else, and what will definitely bring us back, the owner was incredibly communicative and quick to answer questions. We had a fantastic time :)
