Liked Quiet, clean, flat pitches, good proximity to Salhouse broad. The portaloos very clean for portaloos! Very impressed with those.
Disliked Price for lack of amenities. That’s on me for not reading about the lack of showering facilities but I don’t think the prices really reflect the lack of showers or washing up area.

Liked Wonderful place to escape the hustle and recconet with family.
We loved the location and the local boat ride that we booked. A beuatiful part of the country. Toilets were clean too. Would stay again.
Disliked Just a bit of wondering where to go when we got there. Maybe a welcome sign on the gate to give instruction would be helpful as we found ourselves asking a fee people where to go etc. But overall wonderful.

Liked Great location next to the broad. Peaceful spot surrounded by birdsong. Nice walk round the edge of the broad to Salhouse for the pub. We hired a canoe from Ranger Trevor for a pootle around in the sun, and the chap running the snack hut gave us matches when we'd forgotten to bring any.

Liked Location is incredible. Staff are friendly. Some flat pitches. Quiet site. Family friendly, cafe near by. Great having use of firepits. Close to watersports.
Disliked Toilets were horrendous; dirty, overflowing and pungent. Someone was pitched on our planned pitch. Prices seemed high for the apparent lack of amenities.

We're sorry you had this experience with our toilets, they are portaloos and we do our best to keep on top of them, in fact we regularly get comments about how clean they are. However, in times like the August bank holiday (when I believe you stayed) the toilets get well used; so sorry if our usual standards had slipped. Liked We loved the secluded feel to it, lovely setting by the lake and lovely coffee van for free coffees in the morning! Lovely rangers that are always happy to help and check up on you every so often which is sweet

Liked Quiet & simple campsite with lovely fellow campers closer to canoe hire & woodfordes brewery :) climbing frame & woods to explore for the kids. Cheap!
Disliked The stupid idiot party boats coming through the broads at kids bedtime blaring music ( thankfully only lasted 10mins)
