What customers say
This is a peaceful, low-impact campsite with spacious, private pitches set within a wildflower meadow and woodland clearings. Hosts are consistently praised for being friendly and accommodating. Facilities are described as basic but immaculately clean, with flushing toilets and shower cubicles. Guests appreciate the focus on nature and the quiet atmosphere. While most find the 'back to basics' approach charming, a few mention a preference for hotter showers. Access can be challenging in wet weather.

Electric grass pitch (woodland)
Liked It's a quiet location. Text the day before for the pitch location. Owner helpful with advice on gas supplies as hot dry weather restricted charcoal bbq use. Handy recycling bucket provided with various bins to recycle in to. Nice toilet and shower area- didn't use the provided solar showers.
Areas of grass left to grow between pitch areas provides an extra feeling of separation and privacy.
Disliked Only applies to caravan users, but the grey water goes in the chemical toilet disposal which is raised off the ground. A full waste container was difficult to lift to empty. Could do with a removal ramp to allow easier water disposal.

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked We’ve stayed before and absolutely love this site. It really is a gem. Pitches are huge and very well spaced. Lots of room to walk the dog and for kids to play. Facilities are charmingly rustic and well kept. Supermarket within walking distance and local takeaways will deliver. Owners on site to keep an eye on it. It’s camping as it should be. Perfect.
Disliked Nothing.
