What customers say
This is a well-maintained site with a beautiful riverside location, popular for kayaking and paddleboarding. Pitches are generally spacious and level, offering lovely views and wildlife spotting opportunities. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, with a clean and tidy site. Road noise is a recurring comment, particularly for tents, though many find it less noticeable at night. Toilet and shower facilities are generally clean but some reviews suggest they are dated and could benefit from an update. Recycling facilities are noted as absent by some.

Lovely and relaxing stay
Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked We had a lovely stay here. Host Anna and Kevin were extremely helpful and at hand when you needed them. Site very well maintained and showers/ toilets in good order and clean.
There were some picturesque walks along River Wissey which always lead to the Bluebell pub at Stoke Ferry ;)
There is a shop across the road in the petrol station which is very well stocked ( no alcohol) so very handy! We found the nearest supermarket was 9 miles away so maybe stock up on provisions before coming.
All in all would definitely comeback and recommend the site.
Disliked On a personal level we are very keen on recycling and saw no bins for this. It maybe that we missed it? Or a council led initiative? this is not a negative on the site just our personal view.
