What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained site with spacious, level pitches, many offering lovely riverside views. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff. The location is ideal for water activities and exploring the local area, with a handy shop opposite. While some facilities are basic and could benefit from updating, they are generally clean and functional. Occasional road noise is noted, but most guests found it unobtrusive, especially during evenings. Many reviewers express a desire to return.

Liked Everything. Beautiful country spot. Londis well stocked and very handy. I would definately book for a lovely holiday. But i would leave the rods at home.
Disliked Booked it for fishing and there was one taped unsafe platform and a steel frame that was too narrow.

Electric optional grass touring pitch (riverside)
Liked Tidy site
Disliked Road noise, no drive over grey waste, showers need cleaning above head height, no reply to text sent number given, fishing is a lottery if boats are moored up.

This has to be the best kept secret in pitch ups.
Electric optional grass touring pitch (riverside)
Liked One of the best kept secrets from the Pitchup group of sites. This very friendly and homely campsite is clean with flat pitches over-looking a lovely slow moving river. It’s incredibly dog friendly and with lots of other dog owners around, you would think that there may be a few ‘forgotten’ cleanups. But with plenty of poo bins around the site this definitely wasn’t the case. Kevin and Anna, the managers of the site, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They welcomed us when we arrived and were eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. All the usual facilities were available and they were all clean and in good working order (also with proper power showers - none of that push button per dribble nonsense). Honestly the only thing that could make this site better is if it had a pub outside the entrance.
Disliked Nothing - genuinely nothing to dislike.
