What customers say
The property offers a quirky railway carriage design and a peaceful, wildlife-rich location near Snettisham beach, with comfortable sofas and ample utensils. However, guests reported issues with the property being cold, musty, and dated, with a poorly functioning shower and slow sink water. Concerns were also raised about the electricity meter costs, uncomfortable beds, broken kitchen appliances, and unkempt outdoor areas. Some visitors experienced difficult access due to muddy tracks and narrow entrances.

Disliked The property is big it's very cold, the freezer wasn't on when we arrived. The beds arnt comfortable. The middle sleeping area had little privacy . The shower didn't heat up much , the water in the bathroom sink is very slow. There was a very musty smell when we arrived. The outdoor area looks very unkept. The turn and entrance was very narrow . Some windows didnt close probley which created gaps allowing cold air in. The sink in the bathroom was dusty when we arrived .

Needs alot of TLC it doesn’t look kept
Railway 3 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow
Liked The beautiful sunsets and knowing I was there to see Michael Buble in sandringham.
Disliked Very dated. Smelt fusty and very cold we had to cut our stay short as it was to cold. It was a £1 meter for electric and it was eating it. The water trickled out the taps so made it difficult to clean teeth properly or have a good shower. It felt like I was stepping back into time. The bedroom situation was a weird set up. The bed was rickety it just wasn’t a pleasant stay. We had no communication where to pick a key up from. It definitely wasn’t for us.

Railway 3 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow
Liked A lovely cottage/chalet about 5 minutes walk from Snettisham beach. The railway carriage park of the chalet was really quirky. Lots of places to visit in the local area including Hunstanton, Castle Rising. Also highly recommended Watatunga Nature Safari which is about half an hour away.
Disliked Beds were a bit hard and everything local seemed to be closed on Monday so was difficult to find somewhere to eat. Also a bit more warning about the electricity meter before arrival would be nice, rather than on the welcome email sent a few days before arrival.

No wifi and the roads was full of bumps which had damaged our car.

Disliked When we booked that place the owner did not mention anything about the electricity metre.
Few weeks later when the owner received all his money, then he informed us about electricity metre by email which went directly to my junk box so we spent the first night without any heating or lighting.
At the end I spend almost 50 pounds just to have electricity for three night over there.

Railway 3 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow
Liked Easy check-in. Private space as the opposite caravan hadn't been booked. Plenty of space for 4 adults.
Disliked Kitchen wasn't great - oven and grill broken, one of the hobs broken, plus the frying pans were unusable. Shower didn't really heat up. Whole place was musty.

An excellent base for exploring RSPB Snettisham
#68 2 bedroom static caravan
Liked The area - lots of wildlife, very peaceful ( I went out of season, October-November)
The caravan - very snug and warm. I only spent £7 in the electricity meter.
The owners - very easy and helpful to communicate with.
Disliked Although there are stone tracks in the driveway, it can get very muddy during wet weather - which we had! I'm sure it's fine in drier weather.
