What customers say
Rose Farm offers a generally positive experience, with many visitors highlighting the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and spacious pitches. The location is frequently praised for its convenience to local attractions. However, some guests noted long walks to facilities from certain pitches, particularly in the non-electric field, and occasional issues with shower temperature or maintenance in specific blocks. A few reviews mentioned noise from nearby roads or events and a desire for more on-site amenities.

Maybe a "no frills" site but the price at £40/night certainly is.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Sadly, not a great deal.
Disliked Pitch allocated was bare earth (rock hard), although others (empty) had grass and had to park at an angle as pitch short with embankment although motorhome only 5.9m so could not tie down one side of awning as it would be on the road. Facilities really tired, in need of repair not that clean.

Felt as if we were marooned and forgotten at the far end of things
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Shower block at the far end of the site
Disliked Poorly maintained area for touring campers.
Shower and toilet facility was poor re; no drainage for the single shower, no toilet paper in the toilet, bin crammed full and never emptied during our 2 day stay.

Once we found it we were made to feel very welcome & enjoyed our stay!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Loved our stay at Rose Farm. The site wardens were both really warm and friendly and helpful. Although we only spent one night there we would definitely return. Perfect location for anyone planning to take part in Gorleston Cliffs parkrun as we did.
Disliked Its not a dislike as such more of an advisory notice to future travellers - the Rose Farm signage has been removed and replaced with Belton Country Park signage to promote the park lodges that have been built on the land in front of the park. As such, we drove past several times, as did another camper too we discovered when talking to him the following day. He was there for parkrun too!
Look out for the iron gates and the signage that looks like a new housing development and you'll find Rose Farm!

Good campsite
Electric grass pitch
Liked The spacious sized pitches. Clean shower and toilet blocks. Quite at night and good distance from the Beach (10 min drive). Great reception on arrival nothing too much for the owners and very helpful.
Disliked No dog walking field and unfortunately a long walk to the toilet block but that being said they weren’t busy in anyway.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Joan and the other staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The shower/toilet was clean, had a good heater and the hot water was plentiful and never ran cold. Joan was particularly caring and thoughtful with a couple of additional requests that we made by email before arriving... so all in all we had a great stay and would happily stay there again.
