No matter what your plan for a trip to this area, a friendly welcome awaits all comers at Rose Farm Touring Park, on the edge of the village of Belton and accessed from Belton Country Park. For a day at the beach, Gorleston-on-Sea (only 10 minutes’ drive away) calls with its sweeping sands and watersports activities. Stop by Great Yarmouth, 15 minutes' drive away, too, as this traditional seaside resort has mini-trains along the promenade, shows at Yarmouth Hippodrome and a pleasure beach to look forward to. Rose Farm Touring Park is simple in style but it's immaculately kept, with thoughtful touches like keeping the tidy toilet and shower facilities heated in winter. Dogs are also very welcome to join you on your travels. There are lots of useful amenities close by the site for all your grocery shopping and refreshment needs. A supermarket for stocking up on essentials is five minutes away on foot. There's also a pub 25 minutes' walk away, next to the river Waveney. Lovely big non electric camping field.
Good nearby facilities

Disliked Very poor bathroom facilities in top field. Toilets dirty , shower cabin smelled awful
(In fairness there was a main toilet block at front of site but a reasonable walk away from top field but we decided not to stay at site)

Liked The shower water was nice and hot. And the management team was good enough to locate our group of six families next to each other, as we requested.

Disliked The toilet/shower blocks were very basic and well overdue a thorough update. There were no additional facilities, such as a site shop for necessities, and the 10:00am leaving deadline was so early that we had to buy an additional day's stay in order to ensure that the morning dew had evaporated enough to pack our tent away.

Liked Our pitch was perfect, placed with our friends at no extra cost, the views over the field were lovely. The owners are so nice and welcoming. Showers lovely and hot. Always soap and toilet roll available. Bus stop to Yarmouth a short walk away. Electric went out owner was quick to fix it. The site was peaceful.

Disliked The facilities up the camping end weren't the best. But the owners did advise to use the others so I’m glad I brought my bike as they were a distance. WiFi didn’t work well but again I was advised but I had great signal anyway.

Liked Close proximity to Wild duck haven where family from Scunthorpe were staying.
Friendly staff members very keen to help and responsive !! Super people
Scenic location with cows and horses
Close by and wide open fields to look out onto

Disliked No specific dog walking field or off road tracks directly from the campsite
Fairly small pitches
Very tired shower block and only one shower block near the entrance for the entire campsite
From the non electric this must be almost 3/4 mile away ?
The routine of cleaning the shower block and the toilets doesn't appear to be frequent enough for the busy time in August in my opinion but the upside meant they were always open.
No onsite shop or cafe or other vendors visiting the campsite
I think it quite expensive for what is on offer. Very unlikely to stay here again.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
