Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)

Liked: If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautifully kept holiday camp site this is definitely for you. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your holiday. The toilet/washroom facilities were kept beautifully clean. All this and if you are into fishing that’s catered for too and all for free and if fishing isn’t your thing it’s still a great place to enjoy a pleasant stroll. What great camp one we will definitely be going back to again

Liked: Lovely quiet site with generous size pitches, very clean toilets and shower, fishing lake included with pitch and went canoeing on the river which is directly behind site.

Disliked: Opposite the road of the site had a few noisey dogs and children but we only heard them on our 1st night out of 3

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Peaceful, spacious pitches, facilities were excellent with air conditioning! Lovely showers, high-standard of cleanliness.

Disliked: No-one greeted us - never saw the owner! The roads to the site are very uneven so slow down or you will damage your caravan!

Local attractions

Fishing for some more wildlife-geared activities? Then, you’ll be in a good place to do so, as the Lattersey Local Nature Reserve (20 minutes' drive) has a good load of animals and plants and the Raptor Foundation has a birds of prey display (25 minutes). For more of the actual fishing, if you haven’t already had your fill on site, Decoy Lakes coarse fishery (20 minutes) is a short drive away. Onto some new horizons… it may be a little further out, but Cambridge (an hour) has all the makings of a good afternoon out, from college tours to punting on the river or browsing through the Fitzwilliam Museum. Ely Cathedral (half an hour) is another of those good historic sites, and there’s another cathedral in Peterborough (half an hour), along with a greyhound track and the Nene Valley Railway. That’s one heritage railway, but there’s another at the Fenland Light Railway (five minutes’ walk), which has a narrow-gauge steam train and locomotives. Once you’ve had a good look at the world of the railways, Ramsey Rural Museum (10 minutes’ drive) will move you onto countryside life in the 17th century.
