Liked: Ideal location for the one night. Not far from showers and toilets'. Toilets and shower were warm a it was nice to have music playing.
Disliked: As you drive up to the site you wonder what you are going to as its a bit shabby. The shower block was ok not the cleanest and shower head holder just flopped down.

Liked: Staff were very friendly on arrival, you have to give them a call and are given an access code for the gate for entry, same code used to leave the site on departure. Due to lots of rain, we were unable to have a pitch on the grass so all vehicles were lined up on the gravel, our door led out to the road side. Lots of people staying and lots of caravans of people living on the site. Facilities were very clean and tidy, entry was by using a passkey code. A lovely walk into Huntingdon through wooded area and fields which was very pleasant. Huntingdon lovely, lots of history, Oliver Cromwell museum was well worth a visit. Lovely pub alongside the site, a nice river View and working mill wheel. Just remember to duck when you're in there between the beams. Rained heavily overnight, obviously no fault of the owners, had a massive pool of water beside our motorhome down to the electric post. Highly recommend this site.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: First impression through the gate was very good. The site was clean and tidy, level pitches and plenty of room. A few directions to choose for walks, one right on the river bank was extremely nice. The kids could play ball games in the camping field which has loads of room as it was empty. Felt very safe. Good park for very young kids. Dogs had to be walked off site although welcome to stay. This did mean there was no mess lying around. Very close to several supermarkets, county park
Disliked: This review was requested to be posted by the lawn mower man of the site. It is unfortunate it is a negative review. The grass cutting was for around 3-4 hours a day from Wednesday to Friday. I'm sure Tuesday was the same but we arrived late and missed it. My wife asked on the Friday if so much cutting was necessary as it's very noisy, and an automatic response from the man was to leave it in the review and we could go and look for another site. He certainly didn't know how to deal with criticism. It was a civil conversation but not a good initial answer from staff. An explanation and an apology go a very long way when a guest has a genuine problem rather than putting your guard up. Not a place to go if you are looking for piece and quiet on week days. It's a shame because the site is very nice, and in a good location for walks and country park. Going on other negative reviews I'm sure this will be met with the same response, to be ignored and look at all the positives. This is an honest factual review. Unfortunately there will be no repeat business from us. And there appears to be a theme of how negatives are dealt with, maybe a customer service course would be beneficial.

Liked: A very secure site which is kept very clean and tidy with very flat pitches. It is very quiet situated next to a beautiful mill and has many local walks. There is an abundance of hot water in the showers and the site manager has been very helpful.
Disliked: Didn’t use site WiFi due to we would only use it for phones

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: We liked the location and area. Close to the town but still nice and quiet. Nice walks.
Disliked: Advertised as gravel pitches but this was just pitching up on the side of the roadway that goes around the site. Toilet and shower block closed from 10.30-11.30 for cleaning. As we had to leave by 11.00 we were not able to use the facilities before setting off on our journey home. The standard of cleaning in the toilet/shower block was very poor. Cobwebs and grime that has been there for months. Upon arrival you have to phone the site warden who then gives you the barrier code to enter. When we tried there was no answer so tried twice more. Then we were automatically blocked from her phone so was no longer able to contact, so had to use another phone to make contact.

From the manager: You arrived before the official check in time and made 8 consecutive phones calls to our number within 5 minutes?? We were 'on the telephone' and I would of thought like most people do you would of pulled over until the correct check in time not arrive and persistently call early? Sadly spam blockers are built into modern phones and if somebody call 8 times after getting an engaged tone and before official check in time...? The facilities are there to be used until 1030am so you welcome to use Until then? Latest check out is 11am but you are allowed to leave earlier!! They have to be cleaned and ready for new arrival (especially if they arrive early!) so when would you suggest we close them? All our other reviews for this weekend toilets are rated 10 out of 10 so think you may be getting mixed up with somewhere else you may of visited.

Liked: Excellent location for overnight stop, facilities and site very clean.
Disliked: No specific Hardstanding pitches, have to pitch on roadway so not to damage grass. A pathway to facility block from road would be good so not to bring in dirt and cut grass.
