Court Farm Leisure Park: Pitches on site

General

  • Family-run site with views of the Malvern Hills for guests over 14
  • A 10-minute drive from Great Malvern and 15 minutes from Worcester
  • Dog-friendly site with kitchenette and smart modern bathroom block

If you’re off for a stay somewhere as scenic as the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, why limit the views to times when you’re out and about? Grab your spot at Court Farm Leisure Park and you can indulge in those gorgeous vistas without moving a muscle.

You’ll be well-placed for walking and bike routes at this family-run Worcestershire site just outside Callow End, and it’s also a handy spot for getting out to the various events taking place at the Three Counties Showground (10 minutes’ drive away), to the races at Worcester or to various musical gatherings at Upton-on-Severn, 15 minutes away.

Sorting the daily basics is pretty easy from here too: a pub is about a mile away, as is the village shop where you can pick up bits for a barbecue or campfire evening back at base. For more extensive shopping sprees, it’s a 10-minute drive to Great Malvern or 15 minutes to the centre of Worcester.

Facilities at this gated site include drinking water and waste disposal, along with a smart modern oak-framed bathroom block that’s got showers, toilets and a dressing table, plus a kitchenette next door.

Might start rating campsites by ease of tent pegs going into the ground, in this case 5*. Nothing feels better than pitching a tent without the frustration of hitting stones! Very pleasant site, alive with nature, amazing views of Malvern Hills, great facilities and clean. Would definitely stay again if I find myself in the local area. So glad there was space here, it was exactly what I needed.

    Clean facilities, space

    Disliked:

Toilet block had no hand washing facilities, had to either go to dishwashing area or showers to wash hands Maybe I’m in the minority but I like to wash hands after using the loo! Also the threat on the large notice that we were being watched on cctv and would be kicked off site if seen breaking rules and banned from returning. Also I was surprised by the road noise was for such a country area

From the manager...

I’m sorry you weren’t happy with our site, the main toilet and shower block has had washing facilities along with the 1 outside toilet , the 1 that you used - the sink is being replaced but there are another 4 sinks to use in the main toilet block and the loo next to the one you are in.
We are a working farm and I have been a strict with the rules as previously we have had campers come across onto the farm and interfere with the livestock. Predominantly we wish everyone to have a lovely time and I believe you are on the minority along with safety to our farm too

All round great experience, excellent communication, no fuss check in , spacious flat pitches with immaculate showers etc. We have visited the area before but this was our first stay at Court Farm and we will definitely be back. Perfect location for us and our 2 spaniels with lots of walking and a couple of local pubs and shops. Thank you Kate for a lovely weekend.

Distance between pitches, but as a quieter time of year there was no one right next to us which would have been too close, but that’s our personal preference.

An excellent site: indeed, level pitches with light grey chippings on the main circuit and 2 tracks at an angle off the main circuit so all one has to do is manoeuvre the caravan wheels onto the tracks and follow up to the pitch electric hook-up. (a nice touch Kate).
Very clean facilities secure access, quiet and very pleasant.
Kate was very helpful to any questions or queries. My wife and I have earmarked another visit for 2023 in the touring diary.

    Thank you very much Kate.

Local attractions

Worcester (15 minutes’ drive) is a good place to start for a taste of the area – head here for cathedral visits, riverside walks, museums and days of horse racing or cricket. If you’re a classical music aficionado, stop by at The Firs (10 minutes) to visit local boy Edward Elgar’s birthplace – or follow the 37-mile Elgar Route to take in all sorts of snippets of the great composer’s life.

For a bit more of the area’s history, take trips to the National Trust estate Croome (25 minutes) to find out about its chequered past, or take a wander around the grand rooms and gorgeous grounds of Eastnor Castle (half an hour). You’ll get a good glimpse into the area’s traditional architecture over at Upton-on-Severn (15 minutes) too – especially if you drop in for a pint in one of its several olde-worlde pubs.

Brought the kids along on holiday? Take them to ride tractors and meet cute animals at Newbridge Farm Park (half an hour) or buy yourselves a bit of quiet time as you lose them in the Worcester Maize Maze (five minutes). Travelling without tiddlers? Try the tipples at Lovells Vineyard (15 minutes) instead.

Must see

  • Royal Worcester Visitor Centre (3.5 miles)
  • Malvern Hills (3.5 miles)
  • Worcester Cathedral (3.6 miles)
