Tucked away in the orchard of a working farm in the Wyre Forest, Luxury Camping at Woodhouse Farm offers a lesson in how to get away from the rat race in style. Yes, the gorgeous and lavishly kitted out tented lodges are electricity free, but they have every other conceivable thoughtful touch to make your life easy and thoroughly enjoyable on holiday.
Woodburning stoves to keep everyone cosy in the spacious living area. A dining table and leather sofa. Proper beds – and natty wooden-built cabin beds for the kids. Roll-top baths. A well-equipped kitchen with a Belfast sink and Welsh dresser stocked with all your crockery and cutlery needs.
You certainly won’t need to pack the kitchen sink – in fact, just pack your suitcase – as all linen and towels are included in your stay, along with a few essentials in a welcome pack, and a box of firewood for your cooking and kettle boiling needs (more can be bought on site). For those family days away from technology (go on, you can do it), there’s a games chest to keep everyone entertained.
Outside, private seating areas have peaceful rural views amid pear trees; a hot tub and barbecues can be hired too.

Local attractions
If you can bear to be separated from your luxurious accommodation, there is plenty to keep everybody happy hereabouts. Take the kids to meet the giraffes and drive through the lion enclosure at West Midlands Safari Park (15 minutes’ drive), where you can easily spend a day. There’s more animal shenanigans to be had at Rays Farm Country Matters (10 minutes), where you can feed deer and pigmy goats.
For activity-filled days out in the open air, try canoeing on the River Severn (10 minutes), or take to the treetops on rope courses at Go Ape Wyre Forest. On days when all you fancy is a quiet woodland stroll, head for Wyre Forest Visitor Centre (both 15 minutes) for nature trails through the arboretum.
And to learn about local history on your glamping break, the Norman remains at Ludlow Castle are open for exploration, and themed medieval days are hosted there too, with bird of prey displays and jousting tournaments. Don’t miss the Victorian streets and shops at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums (40 minutes), where you can head underground on a guided tour of the Tar Tunnel.

No refunds within 30 days of arrival date.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
Bookings cannot be amended within 3 day(s) of arrival.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Payment
A 15% non-refundable deposit is payable now. Luxury Camping at Woodhouse Farm will debit the balance from your card 30 days before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 30 days then the balance will be taken immediately.
You can also opt to pay the full amount at the time of your booking, or at any point before the due date.
