What customers say
This is a basic, open field campsite with porta-loos. Guests appreciate the peace and quiet, wide-open space, and proximity to a pub and National Trust site. Some find it overpriced for the limited facilities, with issues noted regarding ground suitability for pegs and lack of signage. Manager comments state the site offers exactly what is advertised. Recent reviews mention cleaner toilets and a sign marking the campsite.

What a beautiful place! So quiet…
Non-electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch
Liked What a beautiful place! So quiet and peaceful, you can see nothing but fields around you and the only noise is the church bells from the nearby village. Such a lovely, relaxing place with plenty of space for children to play. Owner helpful and accommodating too. Would definitely return if we want somewhere to stay in the area again, highly recommend.

Big Space…
Non-electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Big Space
Disliked No shade, no shower, no water, no grey water, nothing „cute“ or „Lovely“. And too high priced for this Place.

From the manager: clearly you have misunderstood what you have booked, we do not offer mains water and showers or grey water sorry you had such a bad experience but if you look at what we offer on site you will see that you're comments are not valid, thankyou.

Non-electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch
Liked a large field which you could choose your own pitch. Next door to large play area and within walking distance of Charlecote Park and pub. It is a very busy farm so some tractor noise. 2 toilets in field as promised.

Non-electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch
Liked only motorhome on site in very large field. Toilet in field as promised. Nobody came and bothered us. Able to walk to national trust site and pub 20 minutes away. Be aware this is a very busy farm with some dust depending on weather and where you pitch up. Great children's playground just next door.
Disliked No water available which would have been useful.

Awful site no one was there at all when we got there we wondered why!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nothing! Didn’t even stay 😡
Disliked Couldn’t even get the tent up because the ground is not fit to hold pegs it’s full of stones! Had both dogs with us and we had to turn around and pay for another site half an hour away as this ruined our camping trip!

From the manager: sorry you had such a bad experience with us but its a 5 acre site and i find it impossible that you couldn't knock your pegs in the ground. our site is very basic as it says on the pitchup website if you were expecting anything more than Portaloos and a grass field you obviously should have gone elsewhere in the first place.
Very basic site.
Non-electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Wide open space
Disliked Over priced for what is just a field with a Portaloo. No signage to find the site. Spent 1/2 hour driving round before contacting mobile number on site and getting directions.

From the manager: I'm sorry i fail to understand your comment, it is clearly stated on the Pitchup website what our site offers. it is very basic and i suggest better research in future when booking.
Relaxed location.
