When you’re after peaceful, no-frills camping, that’s exactly what you get at Hampton Lucy Holiday Park, a pop-up site 15 minutes’ drive from historic Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. Dogs and kids are welcome; there’s plenty of room on the extensive camping field for running around with the former and a big play area for the latter, as well as walks along the River Avon close by for keeping everybody nicely exercised. The well-kept grass pitches are surrounded by greenery, with simple facilities covering basic loos at the side of the field and picnic tables for alfresco eating on warmer days. Just to be clear, there is no drinking water and no electricity here, so bring in your own bottled water and pack torches for getting around the camping field after dark. So – a quiet rural location but so much to do close by… National Trust - Charlecote Park (five minutes’ drive/20 minutes’ walk) is a sprawling 12th-century masterpiece with decorative-arts collections and formal knot gardens. Stratford-upon-Avon theatres and famed landmarks including Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage are practically on the doorstep, and if you’re holidaying with the kids, Warwick Castle (15 minutes) is a one-stop entertainment hub with jousting competitions, live shows and bird of prey displays.

喜欢 Masses of space, very quiet. Grass field. Two thunder boxes on site which we didn't use, we used our own facilities.

不喜欢 Poor signage onto field. Once off the main Road, the sign to the field had fallen over so we went for a jolly around the fields and back to the field to try and find the entrance again. Its a post and rope enclosed field.

喜欢 Lots of space and remote area but close enough to town centre to drive in. Portaloos were clean. No other facilities but this is explained on advert before booking, and nothing else was needed. Will definitely stay again.

喜欢 What a beautiful place! So quiet and peaceful, you can see nothing but fields around you and the only noise is the church bells from the nearby village. Such a lovely, relaxing place with plenty of space for children to play. Owner helpful and accommodating too. Would definitely return if we want somewhere to stay in the area again, highly recommend.

喜欢 Nothing except the village was pretty

不喜欢 Didn’t stop - it was a really rough field surrounded by lots of workers picking crops but otherwise empty apart from a portaloo. No actual places to park- poorly signposted too.

不喜欢 No shade, no shower, no water, no grey water, nothing „cute“ or „Lovely“. And too high priced for this Place.

喜欢 a large field which you could choose your own pitch. Next door to large play area and within walking distance of Charlecote Park and pub. It is a very busy farm so some tractor noise. 2 toilets in field as promised.

喜欢 only motorhome on site in very large field. Toilet in field as promised. Nobody came and bothered us. Able to walk to national trust site and pub 20 minutes away. Be aware this is a very busy farm with some dust depending on weather and where you pitch up. Great children's playground just next door.
