  • A 5-minute drive from Stratford-upon-Avon; 10 minutes from Warwick
  • Immaculate facilities; great walks in surrounding area
If you're looking for somewhere to unwind and relax, Arden Lakes is the place for you. With ancient trees, six individual lakes and lots of wildlife, this site is located in the gorgeous county of Warwickshire in Central England. There is a range of different accommodation options here, but all come with great scenery, access to well-maintained toilets, showers, fridges and washing-up facilities as well as firepits, where you can gather for an outdoor cook-out or a few drinks in the evening. Arden Lakes is as peaceful and rural as it gets, but the site's also within very easy reach of some of Warwickshire's most popular visitor attractions, including Stratford-upon-Avon (10 minutes' drive), Shakespeare's birthplace, and Warwick (15 minutes) with its imposing medieval castle. On top of that, Arden Lakes has direct access to a plethora of walking trails across the Welcombe Hills and surrounding countryside. Footpaths also link the site to the acclaimed local farm shop ‘The Farm’, where you can eat in or purchase fresh produce to take back to base. Fancy tasting some English wine? The site is also under a mile from a vineyard.

Liked: Adored the attention to detail, care & incredible thought that the owners had put into the beautiful shepherds hut. Incredibly cosy, tasteful, warm and restful. Fresh milk in the fridge, tea & coffee, shampoo, cosy bath robe and lots more.. Beautiful!! A huge thank you.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Arden Lakes is an absolutely beautiful site. We liked the very private pitch location, the tranquil setting and being surrounded by nature. The facilities are immaculate, and Jane and Mike were really welcoming and helpful. The site is in a great location: less than an hour’s walk to the centre of Stratford Upon Avon, and a lovely farm shop a mile away.

1 bedroom shepherd's hut

Liked: Comms from the owner were good before hand and the site was easy to find. The location is very nice as is the position, quality and comfort of the shepherds Hut. They have really pushed the boat out and the full kitchen and quality equipment provided was really appreciated. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with very comfortable accommodation you will not be disappointed.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Absolutely loved this site. Our pitch was lovely and private. And came with a picnic bench, a wooden bench and a built in fire pit. We really enjoyed our evenings sat by a fire and taking in the wildlife around us. The fire wood was supplied by the campsite for £5.00 the bundle consisted of wood, fire lighters and matches and was delivered to our tent. The facilities were modern and very clean. We had a key to the bathroom, there is a pot washing station, access to a fridge and freezer and even a plug socket to charge your electrical devices. The staff were excellent very friendly, could always be contacted and did everything they could to make sure we had a brilliant stay. The campsite is lovely to walk around very peaceful and I even saw two deer. The location was perfect just down the road from Stratford-upon-Avon and about 15 min drive to Warwick both beautiful towns. We liked it so much we were lucky enough to stay an extra night. We will definitely be coming back
