Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Very clean and well maintained site. The pitches were huge and there was a good space in between the next pitch which aided privacy.
The site owner Jane met us on arrival and was very welcoming and informative.
We had a key to our own bathroom too!

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked It's was the most beautiful surroundings. The lakes and the wildlife around ,peaceful. The weather was terrible, but still lovely, pitches were easy to manoeuvre on to. Jane came to meet us at the gates and tell what was what.we had our own bathroom which was good, you can leave you stuff there.if you love fishing ,it's ideal about 5 lakes ,the weather kept us from walking around, but hopefully we will be back .

Disliked The weather!!!!

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Beautiful quiet location with lots of nature all around. We had a lovely welcome and was shown around. We had our own personal facilities which was warm and clean. The pitch was level and very tidy, right next to one of the many fishing lakes on sight. I would highly recommend this site if you are looking for a nice quiet stay.

Disliked There's no WiFi and not a very good mobile signal either.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Amazing location with lots of attractions within easy reach. A warm welcome from Jane with information pack which contains everything you need to know for your stay. The site itself is clean and the amenity block was spotless. It is very dark at night (which I loved) so do take a torch if you want to use the amenity block at night. Very quiet with anglers your only company during the day. Overall we loved Arden Lakes and will definatley be back.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked We cannot recommend this campsite enough. The hosts were super friendly, showing us around the place when we first arrived. Their welcome pack and instructions were really helpful. The pitch was a very generous space, very private and peaceful. The washing up facilities were immaculate along with the private bathroom. We also very much appreciated the use of the fridge freezer located next to the washing up area. Lots to do in the area, you can take a gentle walk through the campsite and on public footpaths to Stratford-upon-Avon as well as walk around the lakes on the campsite.

Liked What a beautiful place and the facilities were brilliant with lovely hosts. They only had two full service pitches it is a fishing lake with camping and everyone was lovely. Would stay again when visiting Stratford upon Avon. I even watched wild deer wandering around.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Arden campsite is the best campsite I've ever been too. The site is clean. The pitch was completely private and having a private bathroom for a tent pitch was brilliant. Jane the owner was very friendly and helpful. We saw rabbits, squirrels, butterflies and a deer. We loved the honestly box for the fireplace. The surrounding area was also fabulous. Loved it stay and will most definitely be back.

Local attractions

Shakespeare’s childhood home in Stratford-upon-Avon is a half-timbered cottage with a pretty garden where most weekends actors perform scenes from the Bard’s best-known plays. You can also catch a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. When you’re all Shakespeared out, book yourself on a boat tour of the River Avon. On the banks of the Avon, Charlecote Park (10 minutes’ drive) is a Tudor house sympathetically expanded in Victorian times to maintain its original appearance. Check out the servants’ quarters, with a Victorian kitchen and laundry room, then take a stroll around the grounds, which were designed by Capability Brown and are home to a herd of deer. In the lively university town of Warwick, guided tours of the riverside castle take in its medieval interiors, which include the elegant Great Hall, with a chequered floor and a collection of weapons and armour. In the grounds are a peacock garden and an area for falconry displays.
