  • Spacious Warwickshire park set in the grounds of a country estate
  • A 25-minute drive from Warwick Castle or Stratford-upon-Avon
  • On-site coffee shop, playgrounds and walking routes
Have your morning cuppa or coffee in the grounds of a gorgeous countryside estate, and stretch your legs around the walking trails. It’s not just the mornings that are splendid when you stay at Umberslade Estate – this well-maintained site surrounded by the green Warwickshire countryside also has playgrounds and a coffee shop, Espresso Farm, which is open for refreshments daily, between 9am and 4pm. Elsewhere on the farm, there are also plenty of animals to see in the fields and outdoor play areas that children are likely to enjoy spotting throughout their stay. When you’re ready to dig into some more substantial grub, the site is approximately a mile from the village of Tanworth-in-Arden, where there is a friendly local pub. If you're lucky enough to be here during high season, there's also an on-site pizza barn open from midday to the evening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with woodfired pizzas made by their very own Italian pizza chef and excellent local ales. Danzey railway station is also close by, just over a mile and a half to the south of the estate; Wood End station is just over two miles to the north. That makes getting about Warwickshire’s historic towns and cities pretty easy. Other facilities at this family-friendly place include toilets (note, there are no showers) and handy washing-up sinks. Dogs are also allowed to come and stay at Umberslade Estate, but they must be kept on their best behaviour and under control at all times.

What customers say

This spacious, friendly campsite offers large, level pitches and beautiful countryside surroundings. Visitors praise the excellent, clean facilities, including modern shower blocks, alongside popular on-site amenities like a cafe and pizza barn. It's highly recommended for families with young children due to the playground and farm animals. While generally peaceful, some mention occasional noise from nearby traffic or dog kennels. Some guests noted limited showers and occasional issues with food demand not meeting supply during peak times.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Coffee shop, pizza barn, toilets nice and clean, playground is ok for kids

Disliked Cost - very expensive for what it is compared to other local alternatives. Long grass in field made it difficult to pitch and walk in grass especially when wet, only one shower, not many animals, playground equipment broken, no bricks for bbq, no proper bin area, toilet block a very very long walk, very limited shade as essentially just a field. No real customer service as no check in

Cadbury World (30 minutes) in Birmingham will bring chocolate making into the mix. However, if it’s science you’re interested in, Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum (40 minutes) might be your first stop.
