Liked Plenty of room to set up. Lovely park area and coffee shop. Staff very pleasant.

Disliked The cafe not geared up for the good Weather, ran out of ice for the drinks and ice creams. Not really enough staff around the site for how busy it was.

Liked Absolutely amazing from min we got there. Met by a lovely man that talked us through where everything was. Nothing was trouble to him. Lots of staff around to help always someone around to help.
Very well kept site, pitch size was fantastic clearly maked out, very level with hook up next to it even had WiFi. Had an area for kids to play, we really liked this as it was away from tents and vans and with having 2 football mad boys this was perfect but close enough to be able to see them.
The site is very well kept, toilets and showers was one of the best we have been. Showers was hot all the time and great power. Lovely size too had somewhere to put stuff when in them, fantastic set up.
Pop up bar was great what a fantastic thing to have Everyone loved it, singers was great lovely afternoon.
Even had football on.
The lodges and bell tents looked amazing.
This farm is brilliant definitely worth a stay has loads to offer and hope them all the best as they definitely go the extra mile hear for a fantastic price.

What customers say

Gopsall Hall Farm is consistently praised for its exceptionally clean and modern facilities, including shower blocks, toilets, and washing-up areas. Guests highlight the friendly and welcoming staff, spacious pitches, and the beautiful on-site cafe and licensed barn, which offers food and live music. The children's play area is a significant draw for families. While the site is described as a work in progress with ongoing improvements, some visitors noted occasional issues with facility cleanliness during peak times and intermittent WiFi. Electric hook-up spacing and waste disposal height were mentioned as minor drawbacks. The location is considered lovely, offering both peace and accessibility to nearby attractions.

Liked Very clean and quiet site, staff were great, nice little coffee shop on site which is also licensed. Kids play area is ideal.

Disliked Electric hook ups are spaced quite far apart and our cable didn’t reach, but fair play to the site staff who leant us an extension lead FOC, so all was good.

Liked Location was lovely. You can clearly see this place a working progress and up and coming.

Disliked Most of the things like pub and pizza place only being open Friday to Sunday. Nothing being open past 6pm or before 9am in the week.

No. 32 electric grass pitch

Liked We had an amazing four days at Gopsall Hall Farm. Brilliant camp pitch with view of the new playground/kids football pitch allowed us to let our kids enjoy themselves and run free. The on-site Elizabeth’s bar was handy for a quick afternoon beer and the pub was superb. The facilities were spotless; washing up area, shower rooms, fresh/waste water areas, etc. It all felt brand new and tidy. The staff and fellow campers were all really welcoming and accommodating. It’s really well located for Twycross Zoo, Bosworth Battlefield. I’d really recommend.

Liked Peaceful, aesthetically pleasing, clean. Has been done to a high standard.
The Campsite was lovely and clean. We had a walk around the pods and tipis which looked amazing. Nice views and lovely location. Facilities were great and modern.

Kids park and small football goals were ok. Free WiFi which was intermittent but as expected on a campsite.

Disliked By the end of the day the facilities had become a mess. No hand soap, grass and mud everywhere, no toilet roll. In the morning they are spotless so maybe need another clean in the afternoon.

The washing up area was dirty and soggy food. Could do with a little bin or something to scrape into.

Local attractions

To the zoo! Less than two miles from base, Twycross Zoo and World Primate Centre is the only place in the UK where visitors can gibber to all species of great ape among its thousand or so residents from 200 species. The zoo has a nature reserve and soft play area too to swing around in, and daily activities like keeper talks and animal feeds (wave at the meerkats when they pop up for supplies each morning and the penguins waddling around each afternoon). Twycross is at Atherstone, Gopsall Hall Farm’s local town on the border with Leicestershire – the Coventry Canal runs through town too to snap scenic shots along the towpath including ones of the Coventry Art Trail, public pieces put up here by local artists. Since Rick 3 was rediscovered in 2012 under a Leicestershire car park, interest in the possibly-bad king has skyrocketed, so make room for a day at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre to find out all the up-to-date info. (Sadly, however, whether he did bump off his nephews in the Tower is still a matter of fierce academic debate). Townwise, Market Bosworth and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, possible adolescent home of one Mr Adrian Mole, Esq, are both within ten to 15 miles for additional day trips: make it midweek for the former as Bosworth’s Wednesday market has been running since the 13th century.
