What customers say
This peaceful, back-to-basics campsite offers spacious pitches within a beautiful woodland setting, ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. It's highly praised for its tranquil atmosphere, abundant wildlife, and direct access to extensive walking and cycling trails. Wardens are consistently described as friendly and helpful. While facilities are minimal (water and chemical disposal only), this aligns with the site's "wild camping" ethos. Some guests noted it can be busy, particularly on weekends, and a few found the price high for the limited amenities.

Liked This was our second stay and it happened to be a really quiet time. It was lovely and peaceful with plenty of space. We parked up by a picnic bench, under the pine trees and it was perfect. Beautiful scenery, bird song, shade if we needed it.
Our three Labradors love it.
