Rudyard non-electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch

Liked Lovely, peaceful and small site. Good views and far enough from noisy roads to make it a quiet stopover (well apart from the sheep!)
Clean and luxurious facilities, site level and easy to locate. Stayed on Rudyard which is right next to Roaches and similar size (though with added adjacent grass). Would definitely return.

Disliked Noisy sheep?!?
Seriously, nothing!

Dovedale electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked We absolutely adore Tyre Farm, it's quiet but cosy. Perfect with only a few pitches and they're far enough away you can hardly hear the others. The owners are really friendly too if you see them, but they're often busy working on the day I think.

The shower and toilet was such a lovely touch, felt like being at home and perfect for our friends who like camping with a bit of luxury. The room has a little getting ready area and wash up sink, and board games to play too.

Our pitch had a section next to it where you could sit on some very comfy chairs with a very rustic table too, where we had a lovely birthday meal which we cooked on our fire pit (although you can hire theirs too).

But our favourite part of all, was the farm cat (we called him/her Oreo but would love to know their real name 😁) Oreo hang out with us every night round the campfire curled up in our laps, and on the final night came and curled up next to my husband's head and slept a few hours in our van - Oreo was too cute!

From the manager: Thankyou for your lovely review, glad you enjoyed your time here. It’s so nice to see people enjoying and relaxing at Tyre farm. “Oreo” is called Buffy and she is one cute little character on our little farm. Hope we see you again in the future.
