Ready for weekend breaks and nights under the stars on an adults-only Staffordshire hideaway? Staying at Tyre Farm sees you 15 minutes’ drive from Alton Towers and the Peak District National Park; wherever you find yourself on site there are spectacular views across open countryside to wild moorland and the landmark Winkhill. Logs and disposable barbecues are available for a small cost on request. Breakfast is sorted as you can fry up freshly laid eggs straight from the farm chickens. Pick up other foodie bits and pieces from the supermarkets in Leek (15 minutes), or head to pubs and restaurants if outdoor cooking isn’t your forté; there are quite a few options within 20 minutes of the site. As the pitches are on a working smallholding, dogs should be kept on leads.

喜欢 The great uninterrupted views. Peaceful surroundings, lucky enough to be the only campers for two nights. Short walk to the very clean shower, washing up facilities and water tap. A good choice of pubs to eat in, we picked the one in Onecote. Didn't do any walks this time, but nice to know that walks can be done from the site. Short drive to Leek for shops etc. Would 100% recommend and look forward to returning next year.

Small, intermit, quiet, child free zone. Beautifully presented not crowded and they’ve thought of pretty much everything. Shower room and kitchen area immaculate… just a georgous place to stay

不喜欢 Would be great if one more toilet not in the bathroom but that’s the cherry on top..

喜欢 The owner phoned to say there would be a big farmers sale while I was there and gave me the option to cancel, which I did. I thought it was very considerate of her to let me know. She also offered to let me stay free if I had decided to still go. I was the only pitch booked for those dates.
