Liked: Beautiful site with great views. Site so well kept and the facilities were the most luxurious we've had on our touring holiday. Beautiful bathroom with toiletries - felt like home. Lots of useful information and a great pub walk from the site. Owners were so friendly and great communication prior to arrival.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect! We'll be back!

Manifold non-electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: The pitches are along the side of a long drive up to a farmhouse with fields opposite. They are spacious and the site is on an active farm, quiet and surrounded with lovely views of the lambs and other animals.
The reception has a clean toilet/shower, washing up facilities as well as DVDs that can be borrowed. The staff are friendly and everything from booking to leaving was flawless.

Rudyard non-electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Really well kept farm site with friendly owners on hand to welcome. Loved the working farm surrounds, picturesque views, how clean and tidy everything was, and of course, great weather- and miniature goats!!!
Disliked: Might benefit from an extra loo when busy but the existing bathroom felt luxurious for a campsite

From the manager: Thanks for your great review, we hope to have a new extra separate loo this summer. Hope to see you again in the future, kind regards.

Liked: This is my kind of site! The pitches are clearly marked and everything is beautifully kept and attractively laid out. It is wonderfully peaceful and the views from the pitches are lovely. The welcome text tells you everything you need to know before you arrive.
The reception area is full of useful information, suggestions for walks and contains the toilet and shower, a small fridge, washing up area, games and videos to borrow, hairdryer and vanity mirror and hair and bathroom products available to use. It's all very tastefully done to a high standard and presented immaculately.
As other reviews mention, there is only one toilet and shower, however it is a very small site so there will never be many people around and there was never a queueing issue for me.
The Red Lion is a short walk away with a good menu at sensible prices.
Looking forward to my next visit!

Manifold non-electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Loved being surround by the animals. So well looked after and friendly with humans. Great facilities and cute touches such as toiletries available for the guests, fridge etc. Rated low on child friendly as it’s an adults only site, this isn’t a downside as we wanted a calmer environment.

Liked: What a beautiful campsite and run by such a friendly family. So accommodating and the facilities are 5 star. Also a bonus for the time of year we were staying was to wake up to watch the lambs chasing each other around the field. Lots of information of the local area provided and a local 5 mile pub walk (with 3 pubs on route) mapped out in the reception which was a great walk.

From the manager: Thanks for your great review, glad you enjoyed your stay, the little lambs are loving this great weather, they are a joy to watch.
