What customers say
This is a highly recommended, well-maintained campsite offering spacious pitches, exceptional cleanliness, and beautiful countryside views, particularly of The Roaches. Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful owners, the peaceful atmosphere, and the convenient proximity to a local pub. Basic but spotless facilities are noted, with guests appreciating the allowance of fire pits and BBQs. While some mention limited walking trail access directly from the site and the absence of hot water for washing up, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many intending to return.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We booked a little last minute but the sun was out so thought why not.
We struggled to find the campsite but I rang the owner and she met with us on the main road so she could guide us in.
Beautiful views, lovely surroundings.
It was just us camping on the field on this occasion so we just sipped a nice wine, watched the sheep hanging out and watched the sun go down.
Toilets great, washing up facilities fine, stones to use for bbq and fire pits.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Amazing site. Owner was lovely and greeted us on arrival. The facilities were always very clean and the pitches were of a good size.
Will certainly be returning again.
Disliked The road can be a little loud (especially motorbikes). So if you are a light sleeper maybe take some ear plugs. However this didn't keep me or my child awake.
