What customers say

This adults-only campsite offers a peaceful countryside location with lovely farmland and woodland views. Pitches are level and well-maintained, as are the clean toilet and shower facilities. Amenities include a washing-up area, recycling, and chemical toilet disposal. While some traffic noise from a nearby main road is noticeable at peak times, it's generally not disruptive. Ideal for exploring local attractions, many visitors would happily return.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The site is spacious and well laid out. Pitches are a good size and the water tap next to the pitches is great. The facilities are excellent. Lovely and clean and toiletries also provided.
We would use this site again.

Disliked The lane in is narrow in places. We turned right out of the site to leave, it was quite overgrown and wouldn’t recommended this route.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked What a great little site this is. Limited pitches meant it was peaceful and the views of the farmland and woodlands were all around making it a great spot to watch the sun go down. Horses in the nearby field kept us entertained with their antics and their was plenty of birdsong to listen to. Level pitches, toilets and shower were clean and are well maintained. A washing up area, recycling bins and portable toilet waste disposable all added to a comfortable stay. Ideal location for exploring local attractions like the Iron Bridge and Blists Hill. Had a great few days here and would certainly stop again.

Disliked It is quite close to a main road so you can hear some traffic at peak times. You probably won't hear it in a van but if you are in a tent, earplugs will soon block it out and we didn't really find it an issue as it was more like white noise.
