Liked This is a lovely little campsite. The shower / toilet block is very clean and secure. The grounds were well maintained, grass mowed. Spacious gravel link ups. We had a meal in the Red lion, which was absolutely delicious and the pub itself was less than 2 miles from the campsite and easy to find.

Disliked We were in a trailer tent so we could hear the traffic through the night. I would think it wouldn't be a bother if we were staying in a motor home or a caravan.

We are disappointed, from your review, as it appears our facilties, customer service etc had not met with your expectations, however, these are as advertised.

Our Pitch Up page sets out very clearly what our site has to offer.

Location... Our location is as advertised.
We are a small, adults only site as described! We would advise anyone booking to always read carefully the location details - you should ensure the site suits your requirements before you book.

Value... Our pricing is very competitive and indicative of our location and pricing locally. In fact, there is no other cheaper comparative option.

Facilities... Our facilities are again as described.
Our Pitch Up clearly quotes
"This is a simple site, so don't expect heaps of fancy facilities. All the essentials are covered though".
Again we would advise anyone booking to ensure you choose a site where facilities meet your expectations. We are a small, quiet site and while other providers may offer a whole array of facilities, these are often reflected in their more expensive pitch options.

Customer Service.... We offer a private self check-in service. In our experience customers prefer this. However, any issues and our warden is always available. If you could advise me of what customer service you expected and did not receive I would appreciate this. I can then consider if we can improve our service and implement any changes?

Cleanliness.... We take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities.
Toilets are cleaned regularly. We have only ever received such positive feedback regards our cleanliness. I can only offer my sincere apologies Alex if standards fell short of our usual excellence during your stay.

Liked Adult only quiet site with a secure gate. Padlock was easy to use. Good hardstanding with electric and water. No reception on site but clearly marked telephone numbers for assistance. Cameras for security too. Facilities were very clean and well looked after. 2 toilets and 1 shower in each side male and female. Washing up area and toilet empty point. Only stayed one night but pleasant stay. Small amount of road noise but not an issue. Price was reasonable and electric included.

Disliked Water pressure in shower was very low, just took longer to shower.

Liked I booked a one night stay as I had to be in Telford for work. I loved the extremely well maintained site, pitches were tidy and well presented, landscaping around the site is excellent.
Location was also close to Telford and not too far off the M54 or A5 which was ideal for me. Despite this the site was quiet with very little traffic noise from the roads.
I enjoyed how peaceful and tranquil the location is, I kind of wish it had been a warmer evening as I imagine sitting outdoors with the view of the fields would have been lovely in the sunset.
The facilities were spectacularly clean, cleanest I’ve been to all year. May be basic to some but cleanliness and function is much more important in my view so 10/10.
I will definitely be looking into booking a leisure break here in future as it would be great to explore the local walks.
