Liked We spent a wonderful weekend camping here in a tent, and it proved to be a brilliant location for exploring the historic Iron Bridge and surrounding area.
Finding the site was straightforward, though as other reviews have noted, the access road up to the campsite is extremely bumpy, so you definitely need to take it nice and slow in your car.
We arrived ahead of the official check-in time, so reception was closed, but a handy phone number was displayed to call. This caused no trouble at all; we were warmly welcomed and told we could pitch early. Guests are allowed to choose their own pitch, all of which are wonderfully flat. Even better, each pitch comes with its own fire pit, and wood is available to buy directly on-site for cosy campfires in the evening. Later in the day, the owner came round to check that everything was okay and to tell us all about the facilities, including the on-site Wi-Fi, which was a lovely, personal touch.
While cars are not permitted on the camping field itself, the site provides the most amazing wheelbarrows to easily transport your gear from the car park to your pitch. The entire campsite felt quiet, tranquil, and offered stunning views. Best of all, every camper on-site was respectful of the established quiet times.
The facilities were exceptionally well-maintained, featuring separate ladies and gent’s toilet and shower blocks. The ladies block was equipped with 3 toilets and 3 showers, they were spotlessly clean, well-lit, and provided reliable hot and cold water. There was always plenty of toilet paper, and an unexpected bonus was the inclusion of a hairdryer. The washing-up area features 2 sinks with hot and cold water. There is also a freezer store for ice packs and a charging area to keep your phones powered up. There is also a small kids' play area on-site.
Overall, Irongorge Camping is a peaceful, well-equipped, and scenic retreat with fantastic customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Shropshire!

Liked This camp had everything I needed.
Toilet/Showers/Ability to charge devices/Freezer. The pitch was great being slightly raised and in quiet area. The whole camp whilst busy was not noisy and silent after about 10pm(or at least I slept through any noise)
Disliked Toilets/showers could do with a revamp...but I'm being picky here.
As a cyclist...worth noting that it's on top of a hill on top of a hill on top of a hill ...just go u on every turn.
