Liked Owners really friendly. Lovely little site with donkeys and chickens to say hello too. Gorgeous views over mountains and nice to have your own tap.

Disliked A little strict on the guest policy. We would have loved to meet up with some friends for a drink or two one evening but you’re not allowed guests past 6pm. And no more than 2 guests in daytime
A little play area would make this place a bit more family friendly

Disliked Having to walk past the caged guard dogs, my wife is scared of dogs so she was somewhat limited. We understand its a working farm, but it might be an idea to have access to the pond and walks behind the barns?

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the dogs. As you mentioned, we are a working farm, and the dogs are securely contained within their kennels. We completely understand that some guests may be nervous around dogs, and we’re sorry to hear this limited your wife’s enjoyment of certain areas during your stay.

Thank you as well for your suggestion regarding access to the pond and walks behind the barns. The areas beyond the barns are part of our working farm, so access is restricted for safety reasons. However, we always appreciate guest feedback and will keep your comments in mind as we continue to look at ways to enhance the visitor experience.

Liked The location, very easy to get to and to find. Like the facilities they had everything that you needed in a peaceful quiet location. You can even have safe fire pits for that added camping experience. The hosts were great and took the trouble to come and meet us on arrival to ensure that everything was right. They even have farm produce for sale including eggs and preserves thought this was a great touch

Liked Good pitches, clean facilities, great views, friendly and helpful staff, lots of walks nearby. Loved the honesty box for eggs and jams. Some map info for some walks and info about nearby pubs and the local farm shop.

Disliked NOT a dislike, just a point people may need to know.
There is 1 toilet and shower together, so if you are a person who cant wait when you need to go, it would be best to have your own toilet. We only had to wait a couple of times and the site was quite full, we had our own toilet and didn't need to use it.

As a small site we do keep the facilities simple, but we’re pleased to say we have now laid the concrete base for an additional toilet, which we hope to have installed by the end of June. We’re always looking at ways to improve the experience for our guests while keeping the quiet, relaxed feel of the site.

Liked Only 8 pitches so nice and quiet. Owners mum greeted everyone that came in, very welcoming.

Liked The site is a wonderful, secluded getaway that offers a truly quiet and intimate atmosphere away from the crowds. One of the standout features was the local farm animals, including the donkeys and chickens, which wandered right up to the site and provided great entertainment for our daughter. It is a charming, peaceful spot for anyone looking for a small, out-of-the-way retreat in the heart of the countryside.

Disliked The entrance would benefit from much clearer signage, as it is easy to miss and results in some difficult maneuvering in the narrow surrounding lanes. Additionally, the infrastructure feels quite limited with only a single toilet and shower unit available for guests. The washing-up facilities could also be improved by the addition of warm water, as the current setup is a bit too basic for a fully comfortable stay.
