Long Mynd bell tent (large)
Liked: Spacious belle tent with bedding included.
Comfy bed and duvet kept us warm enough at night.
Pots, pans, cutlery all provided.
Outdoor eco showers free and clean.
Parking next to tent convenient.
Disliked: Camp shop was tiny, not much in it
Indoor showers were 50p- only two toilets and one was in the shower room meaning it didn’t always smell too fresh. Not even a toilet roll holder
Noisy neighbours-belle tents very close together and can hear everything.
Feels like you’re in someone’s backyard. No check-in/out service and felt very impersonal.
No signal, or WiFi that works so had to drive out to find where we’re going
Paid £5 for a s’mores kit that had a pack of marshmallows and chocolate Leibniz-this is not what s’mores is!

Long Mynd bell tent (large)
Liked: Close to nice walks. The WiFi wasn't too bad.
Disliked: The tent wasn't as comfortable as we'd hope due to beds being hard, especially single beds. Also there were no chairs to relax on and didn't see any heaters, which were needed due to the cold at night.
The campsite was quite small so we were near to other campers which didn't help when a noisy group arrived. However, the owner spoke to them and they were a lot quieter after that.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: To be honest not much, one of our worst sites, not the worse though.
The only thing it had going for it, is that the grass was short, and it's literally across the road to Wales.
Some fantastic walking spots, like Corndon Hill at white Grit and the Devil's chair. That's it!
There are activities but we didn't any happening
Disliked: The bathrooms were not nice really. Doors have glass so passers by could potentially see in? still no chairs in bathrooms even though someone has pointed it out last year to sit on after showers.
Names of site visitors on the notice board? Data protection?
There is no shop as advertised. Products from a fridge and cupboard, with honesty payment??
Finally, some motorhome stuck next to an hedge. Awful as no views.
17 mile from Shrewsbury, not down the road.
Would really not recommend if driving a long way!

From the manager: We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. It is so important that you have a lovely time with us and if you only ask we can always do something to make it better for you, rather than waiting until you have left.
The question marks at the end of all your comments suggest that you aren't actually sure of the facts...
We offered you another pitch based on your concern that it was too small, but you chose to stay on the one you selected when you booked. There are lots of photos of the pitch, and dimensions, to help you choose the perfect spot for you.
We aim to make your time with us as simple and and as easy as possible so your name is on the pitch list so that you can find your pitch without having to wait around for us. There is your name, together with your pitch number, nothing else. This isn't a data protection breach.
The shop sells ice cream, treats, drinks, milk, wood, charcoal and with pastries and bread to order for any day you are with us. Our website clearly states what we stock. Yes, it is an honesty shop with the ability to pay with cash or card, we are trying to hold on to little bit of trust in humanity in our quiet bit of Shropshire.
The glass in the bathrooms is heavily frosted so that no one can see in. We would like to save a little electricity and let the natural light do its job during the day time.
Yes Shrewsbury is 17 miles away, we are in the middle of nowhere. That is the beauty of our campsite and why people come to enjoy it. A simple site with fantastic walks and activities (that happen away from the main campsite area so perhaps that is why you didn't see anything going on)
Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us.

Monty on-site touring caravan
Liked: Very clear directions from the road how to get there. Very warm, homely and cozy Monti caravan. No problem contacting the owners, plenty of activities for children. Beautifully kept grass, many toilets, showers and sinks.
Disliked: No WiFi coverage and that's a big no no for us. The owner says that we can catch WiFi closer to the family home however, I would expect WiFi for this price.

3 electric grass pitch (XXL)
Liked: On arriving we found a petit site with a mix of glamping tents and pitches. Pitches were a good size. The site is situated in Shropshire near the Welsh border and offered activities and crafting which we did not know about until we arrived.
The campsite has little night lights which allowed you to see the stars at night.
Disliked: Unfortunately we did not have any phone signal being so remote so we had to rely on the site limited Wi-Fi to keep in contact with family. The pitch was next to a road but did not cause us to much trouble.
The showers were available for 50p and unfortunately the washing up facilities lacked hot water which was a pain when your trying to wash up.

Liked: Owner seemed nice and clean and tidy site , some nice views of the surrounding hills .
Disliked: Small site and Very noisy main road literally right next to the campsite , lack of sleep due to road noise . Half the amenities not working , ie no hot water and an extra 50 pence for a short shower !
