Liked We loved the layout of the site and that all that all pitches were serviced. The little hedges between each pitch gave a feeling of privacy. The landscaping around the site was very well done. Also a very clean site, with good shower & toilet facilities.
Although we didn't get to use it, but great to see an onsite pub/ restaurant. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Disliked Not much to say really , but maybe there could have been more information in the little shed about nearby attractions to visit.

Liked Very clean and well kept campsite. Easy to access and very welcoming on arrival. The girls who work the reception and bar are lovely! We aren’t normally bar goers but we went up every evening for coffee and loved the atmosphere. We were gutted to come home!

Guided tours, afternoon teas and wines are available at Wroxeter Roman Vineyard. The Industrial Revolution site of Ironbridge half an hour's drive away is another top Shropshire attraction, or you could sample some fine dining or afternoon teas in the foodie town of Ludlow. Ellesmere, with its glacial meres created during the last Ice Age, also has a bowling green at the ruins of its 11th-century motte-and-bailey castle.
