Liked: Loads of space, quiet and peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price. Lovely walk straight into Shrewsbury which is a beautiful place to visit

Liked: Convenient to the town.
Disliked: Toilet block could do with a serious update.also showers need hooks or a shelf. Nowhere to put towels, etc except on the wet floor.

As you can see from other reviews based on our toilet and shower facilities, there are indeed a new block of showers, with toilets in, at the top of the show ground. The older blocks are due to be renovated in the near future, I'm sure you can appreciate that with being a charity, not everything can be funded at the same time.

Liked: Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly welcome. Lots of space to wander around the interesting site and good sized pitches. Facilities adequate for the small number staying and proximity to town and river were just great.
Disliked: The toilets *could* be super and sometimes were, but a bit more routine cleaning and loo roll would be good. However, once mentioned the wardens sorted it quickly. I also think a bit of "cleaning up after yourself" could be done by toilet users if you know what I mean - I always feel for wardens having to do this 🤢

Unfortunately people just think we are there 24 hours a day to clean up after them, if only more of our visitors thought the same way as you do! Our staff are all volunteers and we do try to keep on top of all the cleaning at all times.

Disliked: Some of the facilities didn’t have soap
