  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

What customers say

This is a well-maintained, clean, and peaceful campsite with excellent facilities, including spotless shower blocks and spacious pitches. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful riverside location, and the well-equipped children's play area. While the rural location means transport is needed for amenities, many find it ideal for exploring local towns and enjoying walks. Some minor points include occasional Wi-Fi issues and the lack of nearby shops/pubs, though the on-site information room offers essentials.

Liked A lovely friendly campsite close to the river for walking and picnics. Clean. Good facilities. Flat so no chocks needed. Satellite TV was available so my husband could watch the England match!

Disliked Nothing disliked except the state of some local roads which the site has no control over.

Fully-serviced grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Amazing clean site. Tent pitches perfectly flat. Staff and fellow campers were so friendly.
We really have fallen in love with this site.
Although this was helped by good weather and the wonderful access to the river Teme.

Would have liked a little shop for essentials, and a covered area on wet days just as suggestions.

Disliked Nothing

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked A lovely welcome when we arrived, Excellently kept site with high beach hedges. The pitches are level concrete with wide gravel places for cars etc. Good size piches with well tended grass between. The piches each have their water , waste electrivcity and TV.

The country roads are quiet and perfect for leisurely cycling. The local town and pubs are under 3 miles by cycle on quiet roads.

Fabulous playground and grass area.
