  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

What customers say

This is a beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean campsite, praised for its spacious, level sites and excellent facilities, including powerful, warm showers. The riverside location offers lovely walks, and the children's play area is a hit. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. While WiFi can be spotty, the provision of satellite TV boxes is a welcome bonus. A highly recommended peaceful retreat.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Cleanliness of site and warm welcome.

Disliked Noisy neighbours and dogs leaving bones and poo near our tent but think that was just who we happened to be next to. Might be better to spread people out a bit more if space allows

From the manager: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, We hope the neighbours did not spoil your stay, we know exactly who you mean unfortunately most campers are considrate to other guest, but not in this case. We were also given more information after they had left about their behaviour, which was unacceptable. They are not welcome to stay here again .

Such a lovely place to camp. We will definitely return.

FHU grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Immaculate campsite with plenty of privacy provided by the tall hedges. Well laid out. Super clean washblock facilities. The playground was the best we’ve come across in a campsite and the provision of football and badminton nets was a big bonus. The location next to the river was amazing and sitting next to it and paddling in it was a favourite activity for our family.

Disliked Nothing!
