  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

Liked A lovely caravan park just on the outskirts of Ludlow. Clean and tidy and well looked after. Showers are clean and pleasant highly recommended to anyone visiting the area

Also if you visit Ludlow try the sandwich shop that does roast pork. Amazing.

Disliked Sat nav took me 1/2 mile past site.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Very clean & tidy site & grass is mowed regularly. Very spacious level pitch with water & waste hook up - easily took our awning with plenty of space for parking. ANPR gate access so felt secure. Toilet/shower block very clean with powerful showers. Info hut had plenty of info booklets & an honesty box for basic essentials (but not things like milk/eggs). Access to the riverbank for dog walks. Children's play area (although ours are a bit old for it) & dedicated bike area (not allowed around the site as the bends are quite sharp). Communication with management was great when needed & great check in with info pack givenwith details if putch number. Has washing machine/dryer (chargeable) which was a bonus. The WiFi has great coverage (to the delight of the teens 😁) but tv/mobile signal isn't great in the area - they will rent you a satellite box for a refundable deposit but we brought our firestick so no issues there. It was relatively quiet when we stayed during the 2nd week of Easter Holidays. Few miles from the market towns of Ludlow & Tenbury Wells - easy drive - plenty of shopping in both. We would definitely come back for another visit & very highly recommended 😁

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Warm welcome. Helpful staff. Spacious pitches. Clean shower/toilet block. Great access to river for fly fishing. Good park for kids. Thoughtful bike riding field for kids to burn off steam without doing so around the pitches. Level pitches.

Disliked We visited when it was very quiet so we appreciate that rules are sometimes relaxed at these times but if rules state dogs should be kept on leads and kids aren't to ride bikes around the site then these rules should be enforced. No point having rules otherwise. Didn't impact negatively on our stay, it's just an observation. Previous reviews have mentioned the same thing.

From the manager: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, fly fishing only up to the 15th June then its open season . Dogs on the park should be on leads except in the dog walking area. The children are only alllowed to ride bikes slowly to the play area and then they can have fun in the bike riding area. Sadly some people choose to ignore. We will remind guest if we see this , but cannot be on the park at all times, so happy for anyone to let us know so everyone can stay safe and enjoy their hoilday. Thank you

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Amazing pitches and excellent facilities. Incredible site with friendly staff and very clean. The park was amazing for the kids and the stream at the back and the short walk to the church was nice.

The local town on Ludlow had plenty to do and had some great pubs/restaurants

Liked Clean, large, flat pitches with all the amenities in a lovely area, close to some beautiful villages.
