I would recommend and come back if the service would improve.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Facilities were good.
Disliked When arrived I’ve had to wait 20 minutes to be checked in as there was no one at the reception and didn’t answer my constant phone calls 🤷🏽♀️
When, finally, parked- there was plenty of space around but we were given the most muddy patch there was on the field.
🙁
Shame about the experience, as otherwise it’s a lovely place.

As above.

Liked The park was clean and tidy and there was a microwave and kettle, which was handy.
Unfortunately, the restaurant on site was closed, there was no much to do for my 5 year old son and they did not provide any toilet paper which made it quite difficult with a child.
I would recommend to adults only and not children.
Disliked Toilet paper is needed.

Ok but not the best. Could do better
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The kids park and it was a quite park, however it was October when we visited so naturally it would be quiet
Disliked Toilet role in the toilets, been caught short and having no toilet role in any of the toilets (men’s or women’s) means your left in a sticky spot. Never have I ever been to a calpaite and not had toilet paper in the toilets. You had to take your own. There was also no lights on the campsite so it was pitch black outside once dark. Some lights would have been good. Also it’s not obvious where the bins are or the chemical toilet waste disposal area. No one on arrival told us this info so we had to o idea where they were and it’s not obvious either.

Looks like a nice spot, unfortunately rude staff.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (maximum 2-berth, small)
Liked My partner and I would have stayed here or booked for another date if the owners were reasonable. Storm Austen was due and we asked to rearrange or have a partial refund. They laughed and were sarcastic at the notion.
Disliked The cost of not even a half refund is a poor review. I can understand this, but to laugh and scoff down the phone saying "we wouldn't have a business" and "well you've got 7 days to rebook before we close" in a mocking tone. We would camp in the rain, but a storm with weather warnings is totally different and a rebooking for spring could easily be accommodated. Took 5 attempts to even get through to them on the phone. Totally understand the refund policy but the circumstances were about safety, not because we didn't want to get a bit wet. Having a business is understanding that repeat custom, positive reviews and politeness to your customers brings more than 2 nights' fee.

Shabby, depressing, unappealing, expensive site. Don't bother
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Not a lot
Disliked Reduced cost of pitch, pitch sizes could be bigger/flatter, more water taps available, litter around the site to be picked up, actual warden on site rather than contactable by phone, cleaner more appealing toilets and showers etc etc. Awful site and far too expensive

Ok site just a shame about lack of management
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Tidy site, clean showers with plenty of hot water. Clean toilets
Disliked No staff was seen at all even on arrival. The office and shop was never open. Could only contact staff via phone and this was very abrupt and unfriendly. Other campers also commented on the lack of staff.
