Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Set up ready nice, lovely open spaces around the site to walk, sit by the river and fishing pools. Brilliant small cafe/bar on site servicing alday breakfast. Great value. Very friendly staff and very helpful.

Not our type of camping. Friendly staff horrible sanitary and stench.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Pitches are quite large and the owner/employees were very friendly.
Disliked We will not return here because of two things. The sanitary building. Especially the woman’s toilets were disgusting. Used toiletpaper all over the floor, brown smears and stains everywhere, hair everywhere. Plus children playing in the showers, not our thing. Secondly the smell of the sewer, behing the toilet building. Is was a sharp stench and hard to breathe walking by. Plus, we could smell it at our pitch while trying to eat dinner. Really disgusting.

Liked Great space. Shop & cafe excellent and beautiful surroundings .
Disliked Our stay was impacted by a lot of noise & loud music late into the nights (past midnight) which made it incredibly difficult for my kids to sleep.

Overall a lovely site let down by toilet/shower cleaning
Electric grass pitch
Liked The site and pitch itself was well planned tidy and clean.
Friendly nice staff and well kept premises.
Disliked What let the place down was the toilets/ showers not cleaned for 2/3 days/nights (same bits of toilet roll and hair on floor entire stay)
The smell from the toilet waste very strong
Could not be helped but would like to have known
A festival/party nearby until very late (loud music)
The noise of low flying airplanes as nearby commercial Airport

Excellent site in a wonderfully scenic location. A perfect weekend.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Really well maintained site, clean facilities and surrounded by stunning countryside. Onsite cafe served a perfect breakfast. Staff all so friendly and welcoming. Our dog loved the dog field and all the green spaces for long walks.
Disliked Having to leave. We wouldn’t get WiFi at our pitch but didn’t mind being cut off from the outside world when the surroundings were so relaxing.
