What customers say
This is a highly recommended wild camping site, praised for its peace, tranquillity, and stunning natural surroundings, particularly the lake. Guests appreciate the spacious, private pitches, making it ideal for nature immersion, fishing, and watersports like paddleboarding. The welcoming and helpful staff, including Alan and Roger, are frequently mentioned. While facilities are basic, with a portaloo often located some distance from pitches and no waste disposal, this aligns with the wild camping ethos. The challenging access road for low-profile cars is a minor point, with some also noting occasional noise from other campers.
