Non-electric grass tent pitch (backpacker, motorcyclist)
Liked Everything thing. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.Mick and Susan were the perfect hosts,I could talk to them both for hours. The facilities were perfect, the location is great and loads of wildlife throughout the day.The pitches are flat and well spaced. There is also a small spinner/meadow for a wild camp experience.I will be going back asap.Susan was also very kind in getting me six eggs.Loved every minute of my two days.
Disliked I had to come home.
Time went too fast.

Liked Lovely stay with you even though it was just the night, very friendly and helpful. A lovely quiet spot. Will definitely come again!! Disappointed I didn’t get to try the shower out but the heavens opened whilst packing away was enough of a shower for me 😂

Bailey Bridge farm is very much a Wild Rustic campsite but awesome
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Mick and Susan run a lovely little campsite that is simple, peaceful and incredibly homely. The site overlooks beautiful farmers’ fields and has all the basic amenities you need, including clean toilets, an Elsan point and drinking water. Bear in mind this is a Rustc/ wild type campsite.
What really stands out is the care that has gone into everything. So much has been reused, giving the campsite a charming, rustic feel rather than being overly developed. There is even a simple bucket shower, which adds to the back-to-basics experience.
Everything is simple but thoughtfully done, and the cleanliness is absolutely amazing. If you enjoy a peaceful, basic uncomplicated campsite with a friendly and homely feel, this is a wonderful place to stay. Mick and Susan have created something really special.
Disliked Unfortunately there are no showers at this campsite, I did speak to the owner and he did say there are plans in place to build a single cubicle shower/ porta cabin shower.

From the manager: I feel that your review about cleanliness is unfair as it took 2 hours to clean the summer house / cabin when you left despite me telling you the state it was in before you left . I expected your wife to come and tidy every where up but no you just left. Half a pound of sugar melted on surfaces spilt coffee and tea bags torn everywhere . It was spotless in there before the 3 children arrived . This area is primarily for cyclists anyway and we didn’t actually say you could go in there only to get the internet code .

Liked This quiet little campsite was a lovely break away. We are a family of 5 and we loved that they could run off and play safely in the little area near the shed. The shed has books, games and things you may need while youre camping. There is one toliet and a shower tent for the whole site but as its small, this wasn't a problem. There was also WiFi available in the shed. The electric hook up was great and easy to access.
The owners are lovely and around if you need anything. They checked in each day and kept all the shared areas clean and tidy.
Disliked Another toliet and an actual shower would have been nice but we did manage.

From the manager: We do have 2 flush toilets , one is tucked away near the summer house . And we do have a portable shower you can take to your camper van or tent . Lovely to meet you all .

Homely feel
Disliked Roads heading to it are like a see saw for miles, not great with heavy vehicle

From the manager: Considering you were only using us as an overnight stopover on your way from Suffolk to Yorkshire and for 5 people I think £25.50 which was what we got , was value for money, as you can stay here all day on the day you are leaving . Yours was the largest motor home we have ever had stay here and we were accommodating with your change of dates Also it’s not our fault the roads are not good . We live in an agricultural area with farm traffic . Holidaying in Norfolk/ Suffolk ourselves we find the roads not much better there .
