  • Woodland campsite on a private estate at Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire
  • Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre 10 minutes’ drive
  • Spacious pitches and modern facilities; three fishing lakes on site
Time for a hideaway holiday on a Lincolnshire estate? With spacious level pitches and sparkling modern amenities, Woodhall Country Park sits within 2,000 acres of lush wooded parkland on the outskirts of the popular village of Woodhall Spa, and offers peace and quiet in bundles. Tip-top facilities include pristine shower blocks with designated family rooms, and a small licensed store at reception, where you can also gather tourist information, buy bottled gas and purchase tokens for the washing machine and dryer. And the good news just keeps on coming. The anglers in your party will be pleased to hear that there are three well-stocked fishing lakes at their exclusive disposal for a small fee, while you can stretch your legs – and those of any accompanying furry pals – on quiet rural walks straight from the spacious hardstanding pitches. Kids are catered for with a dedicated play area for ball games as well as swings, slides and climbing frames. Keen alfresco chefs can use the shared food prep room with sinks, worktops, a kettle, fridge and freezer. Handily there are recycling points as well as two electric vehicle charging points, and you’ll rest easy safe in the knowledge that there is a secure barrier across the campsite entrance at all times.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The service pitch was great and level. All staff friendly. The pub next door did a great meal.

Disliked Toilets where dirty and need up dating, need new useable hand dryers, showers need looking at as they had the dreaded push button but only ran for 2 seconds when you took your hand of it and they where too hot not adjustable. site staff and other guests need to stick to 5mph in this hot weather as the van and car was covered in dust. Every time somebody went past we got covered also so couldn't sit outside and eat in the wonderful weather. work on new building was noisy from 8am. i would say this site at the moment is no better than a 3 star. WIFI is supplied by an external company and is around £5 a day we had trouble to start with but rang the number obtained from reception and after around 2 hours and a few phone calls we got it sorted.

Very relaxing no shop really as they are busy building what looks like will be fab shop pub and restaurant I was told.

Disliked The showers ect were very clean but dated especially the hairdryer.
When I first got there had to pay extra £10 for fob said deposit took fob back didn’t get money back. Don’t know why it wasn’t just added to our price.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Quiet location, woodhall spa lovely, easy check in/out

Disliked Pitch we were on was a bit tight for space, wouldn’t have got the awning up without parking car elsewhere. The food bus took 30 mins to make us 2 ice cream sundaes and a coffee, lots of customer orders were wrong.

From the manager: Hi Tom,

Thank you for taking time to leave us a review, all feedback we receive is greatly appreciated.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location of our site and the surrounding areas. It is sad to hear that you were waiting a long period of time for you food, however the bus is a third party company to us and we have no management of their business at all. We will certainly pass feedback over to them on your behalf.

As a park we hope to see you return and next time we can help choose you a pitch more suitable for your requirements

Will be returning, great stay and great location. Thank you

Local attractions

Woodhall Spa (15 minutes’ walk) is well worthy of your attention; once a renowned Victorian spa resort, today it has cute-as-a-picture cafés, artisan stores selling local produce and two challenging golf courses. Occupying a former sports hall, The Kinema In The Woods shows classic and blockbuster films to the musical accompaniment of an original John Compton organ. Anyone with an interest in Lincolnshire’s aviation heritage should head to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre (10 minutes’ drive) for guided tours around hangars full of military aircraft, or give thanks to war heroes before the memorial at the International Bomber Command Centre (half an hour). Wind up your day with a relaxing pint or two at the Dambusters Inn at Scampton (40 minutes), which is packed with World War II memorabilia. Outdoorsy types pay attention now, as Woodhall Country Park is also gateway to hikes and cycle rides in the undulating Lincolnshire Wolds (20 minutes). And should you be chomping at the bit to get to the seaside, the traditional resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes are all less than 50 minutes’ drive away.
