  • Dog-friendly site a short walk from Huttoft beach
  • Bus service right outside to the Lincs seaside towns
  • Play area, well-maintained grounds and spotless amenities

A bonzer of a beach awaits within easy driving distance of Country Meadow Caravan Park near Sutton on Sea – and if you’ve brought the pooch with you, he’ll be as happy on this hol as a dog with a bone.

Dog-friendly Huttoft beach aka Moggs Eye comes with miles of sand on which your dog can happily go quite bonkers, while the human types amuse themselves in or near the water: award-winning Huttoft is a clean and safe surfing and sailing spot and a good catch for sea anglers. It’s usually pretty quiet too – a nifty little factoid to remember when the Lincolnshire seaside becomes bustling in the summer months... The beach at Sutton on Sea is about a mile away too along the local footpath.

The quiet family-run campsite at Country Meadows Caravan and Camping Park is also dog-friendly: your canine might also approve of the dog walk nearby, the frequent visits of the local ice-cream van and the takeaway outlets of pizza, Chinese and Indian that deliver direct to the site...

For humans, Country Meadows comes with level grass pitches among meticulously-maintained grounds; amenities (toilet block, showers, laundry and disabled toilet) kept spotlessly shipshape by the site team. Kids are well catered for too with the park play area (look out for the giant boot) and all is kept safe and secure on site with the use of barrier access.

As well as a local dog-friendly beach, a bus to the seaside seems like a jolly good idea too, especially if it goes right past the campsite gate: catch the bus outside Country Meadows to Sutton on Sea and from there to Mablethorpe, Skegness, Ingoldmells and inland to Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The site is two miles from the town centre of Sutton on Sea, with local shops such as a supermarket, butcher, post office, chip shops and hardware stores.
