Toilets a major let down
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (deluxe)
Liked Park is great for kids, the saving grace for us really.
Liked that we had both electric and a water tap on our pitch.
Pub was family friendly.
Disliked The toilets and showers are totally disgusting, to be the point I wouldn’t even let my children use them. They are supposed to be cleaned once a day but the photos I have uploaded are of dirt and mess down the side of the toilet which were there on our arrival ( Monday ) and still there by late Wednesday morning. Even if the toilets are ‘cleaned’ once a day, it’s no where near a good enough clean.
I understand there is an expectation of guests to clean up after themselves, which not everybody does sadly. But paying guests shouldn’t have to suffer because of that. The bin wasn’t emptied once either. I’m also aware it’s the end of the season but honestly there’s no excuse for how filthy they were. We’d just come from a different campsite where the toilets and showers were absolutely spotless and it cost the same price to stay there.
We were in pitch 1 which I think since no body else was using this type of pitch we could’ve been allocated one away from the toilets / electric area. But not the end of the world. We were lucky as it was quiet but I think it would feel a bit cramped if all pitches and car parking spaces were in use.

From the manager: I myself clean these every day, due to how discusting the toilets have been left but guest this year we have made the decision to move to adults only as these only ever happens during this time of year and I’m afriad it is just not an option to keep going in, no complaints were ever recorded during any ones stay and this is just one other reason we are going adults only, the site is already suffering from people who have no respect and have caused major damage which we are now having to deal with but have been unable to currently

Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked The grass is now green
Disliked Facilities showers and toilets need better upkeep the site it self needs maintenance
It’s not like it use to be
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: The facilities are cleaned every day by myself and are in good working order it’s a shame that people just are discusting and don’t even attempt to clean up after they use things paying or not these facilities are shared and people should have the self decency to clean up after themselves, again the site is another reason we are going adults only going forward as this year has been ridicules with children and parents damage posts and chains and driving over them and not even having any care at all, we have already marked down everything for a big project but we will no longer be welcoming children or parents on to site as this has gotten out of hand which is a real shame for the ones who actually take care

The pub didn’t open until 5 on the Saturday which seemed odd with the amount of campers they had onsite

From the manager: The campsite was open and never closed the only area closed as per the text message and facebook post was the bar and store room area, due to an overwhelming amount of rain this was rectified within 2 days but force us to close the pub for a the night
