Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Nice clean, quiet site. Touring motorhome on grassed pitch. Short walking distance to the beach & shops/bars etc. Friendly greeting on arrival & clear instructions for the site facilities. Will keep in mind for another visit at some point.

Disliked Paid for EHU included in the 4 night stay. Top up card for the pitch meter given on arrival at 4.30pm Friday. Main item running constantly was the onboard fridge but electricity ran out by 6.30am Tuesday morning? Wasn't too bad as set off home 3 hours later. Not sure if we would have had to pay for another top up if we had been staying longer?

Local attractions

Ingoldmells alone has plenty to fill a few family days – perhaps your youngsters fancy meeting all the cute residents of Hardy’s Animal Farm, bouncing about at Jump Warriors Trampoline Park or trying all the rides at Fantasy Island theme park. And of course the huge long sandy beach has a nice shallow gradient and heaps of space for paddling, sandcastles, picnics and chomping on fish and chips. You may have also heard of a little place called Skegness? Getting there is nice and easy too – just board a bus at the stop outside the park for the 20-minute journey to get to Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Skegness Aquarium and the pleasure beach. Elsewhere along the coast, Sutton on Sea (20 minutes’ drive) is nice for a quiet beach wander, and Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (25 minutes) is good for birdwatching. Turning your sights inland, there are lots of lovely walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape (15 minutes), more animals at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (half an hour) and heritage sites like Gunby Hall (10 minutes) or Bolingbroke Castle (25 minutes).
