  • Well-equipped family touring park on the edge of Ingoldmells
  • Direct access to the sandy beach; Fantasy Island 20 minutes' walk
  • Fishing lake on site and family pub opposite with play areas
Ingoldmells is synonymous with family seaside holidays – with its long sandy beach, family attractions and range of places to eat and drink, it’s a top spot for easy holidays on the Lincolnshire coast. Making those stays even easier is Waterside Leisure Park, a well-equipped family-friendly park with direct access to the beach and a location within walking distance of popular attractions including Fantasy Island theme park, Hardy’s Animal Farm and Jump Warriors Trampoline Park. The surrounding Anchor Lane area is full of arcades, fish and chip shops and pubs, and there’s a supermarket a one-minute walk away. Alternatively, just cross the road for a meal or drinks with live entertainment (bingo, karaoke and guest singers) and play areas at Woody's Bar & Restaurant. With a fishing lake and plenty of handy facilities (including a launderette and bathroom block) also on site, you could easily park up here for a good few days and simply roam around on foot with no need to pack everyone into the car again. That said, if you do want to explore further afield, you could hop on the bus to Skegness or take the car to nearby quieter spots like Sutton on Sea or the walking trails of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. Topping off the long list of selling points here are 24-hour security to keep you all safe, and a friendly team on hand to offer advice and tips on the local area.

What customers say

Great spot near amusements, food, and the beach. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and the place is clean. Showers are great! Some found pitches a bit tight, with limited amenities on some. Power issues and cash-only bar noted. Overnight toilet/shower closure.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Nothing to dislike with this site. The staff, Dave and his team were amazing. We broke down on the way there so had to arrive on a breakdown lorry. The staff sprung into action on my arival, siting my caravan and even levelling it up.
It's walking distance into Ingoldmells centre but there are shops and bars just outside the entrance.
As mentioned before, the main toilet block shuts at 8 pm and opens up at 8 am but that's not a problem as there's a smaller block that's open all night.
There's also a lovely bar on site that does bingo and the odd auction. Just to note that's cash only.
A great site that I'm sure we'll visit again.

From the manager: Wow, thank you for such a fantastic review, Peter! We really do appreciate your lovely comments and your 10/10 rating.

It was our absolute pleasure to help where we could after you’d had such a stressful journey to our park. We’re so pleased that Dave and the team were able to step in, get you settled and help you start your holiday on a positive note.

Thank you also for the beautiful biscuits! Be assured, they have been shared with the team to enjoy with an afternoon cup of tea — they certainly didn’t last long!

It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the park, our facilities and the convenient location, and your kind comments about the team really do mean a lot to us.

We look forward to greeting you again in the future and hopefully your next journey to us will be a little less eventful!

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and were pleased with your grass pitch and EHU.

It’s great to hear that Wayne gave you such a warm welcome and was helpful in getting you settled on your pitch. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind comments to him.

We’re also pleased you enjoyed our shower facilities. We know the additional seating area in the cubicles is a useful touch, particularly when getting changed.

Thank you again for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to the park again soon!

Liked Site was convenient for all areas to explore. Friendly welcome.

Disliked Toilets were closed at 8pm and there were only 4 ladies showers for the whole site. I can understand they got misused if left open but that is not your paying customers problem. Maybe night security needed. Electric set up was very confusing for some. I personally asked someone who stays all season for advice.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for your positive comments regarding our location and the welcome you received.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet facilities. The disable toilet will be refreshed in due course. We are currently looking into a security fob system which would allow customers to access the toilets 24 hours a day, while still helping us prevent misuse of the facilities.

Regarding the electric, our welcome letter provides clear instructions on how to load credit onto the electric meter. If customers require any assistance, our reception team are also happy to help explain the process. We also include the information verbally on check in.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to the park in the future.

Liked The location was good

Disliked Fishing area is a long way from the camping area. Probably would state this in description

Toilet and shower block are closed after 8pm till 8am, leaving only a small loo area open on camping area... the main door was constantly open which is very close to caravans! No loo roll and wasnt even a mirror in the ladies?

Beth H. 1 review

Liked Showers are clean and accessible.

Disliked On arrival I came once office was closed and had to collect the keys from the clubhouse across from it. When walking in there was a huge Que for drinks and I just wanted my keys so I walked to the front Que and spoke to a man behind the bar and said could I collect my keys and he was so rude and said “can you not see I’m serving” which I was blown away how rude he was but what really did it for me, once he got my envelope he didn’t actually had to move to grab them so he was just being awkward for no good reason, and well not a great start and first impressions and all at.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you, Beth, for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found our shower facilities clean and accessible, although we are very sorry that your arrival experience got your stay off to such a disappointing start.

As you arrived after our reception had closed, a welcome envelope containing your keys, clear arrival information, a map of the park and a loaded electric card had been left for you to collect from the onsite bar. We appreciate, however, that the interaction you experienced when collecting this envelope was not welcoming and we sincerely apologise for the way you were spoken to.

We would also like to clarify that the onsite bar is a separate business and is independently operated from the park, with its own management and staff. Nevertheless, we fully understand that this was your first point of contact on arrival and that it reflected on your overall experience with us.

We have taken your comments seriously and are reviewing our late-arrival arrangements. Going forward, we will be changing our system so that a dedicated member of our team will be available to greet late arrivals, ensure they are settled onto their pitch and have everything they need.

We’re sorry that your first impression did not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Liked Great location and clean showers and toilet great staff too very frieandly lovely site overall

Disliked Dogs always needs to be on leads yet there was plenty off dogs roaming free winding up our dog.. hand dryers going off at stupid times in a tent not ideal all csmpervans etc etc are close and the ground not level or tidy looking

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you, Tiarna, for taking the time to leave us a review and for recommending us to friends. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed our great location, clean toilet and shower facilities, and found our team friendly and welcoming.

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. Dogs are required to be kept on leads, and we appreciate how frustrating it must have been when other dogs were roaming freely and upsetting your dog. We’ll continue to remind guests of the park’s rules.

We also appreciate your comments regarding the hand dryers, the proximity of pitches and the condition of the grass area. We have now put measures in place to remind campers that toilet doors should remain closed, both for privacy and to help reduce noise from the facilities.

With regard to the grass area, the park team will look at levelling and improving the ground when the park is out of season, when the work can be carried out with less disruption to our guests.

Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you and your family back in the future.

Local attractions

Ingoldmells alone has plenty to fill a few family days – perhaps your youngsters fancy meeting all the cute residents of Hardy’s Animal Farm, bouncing about at Jump Warriors Trampoline Park or trying all the rides at Fantasy Island theme park. And of course the huge long sandy beach has a nice shallow gradient and heaps of space for paddling, sandcastles, picnics and chomping on fish and chips. You may have also heard of a little place called Skegness? Getting there is nice and easy too – just board a bus at the stop outside the park for the 20-minute journey to get to Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Skegness Aquarium and the pleasure beach. Elsewhere along the coast, Sutton on Sea (20 minutes’ drive) is nice for a quiet beach wander, and Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (25 minutes) is good for birdwatching. Turning your sights inland, there are lots of lovely walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape (15 minutes), more animals at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (half an hour) and heritage sites like Gunby Hall (10 minutes) or Bolingbroke Castle (25 minutes).
