Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

5kWh of electricity per night is included, any usage beyond this is metered on site at £1 per kWh and must be topped up at reception. Sleeping in awnings and exceeding caravan berth are not permitted.

Our set up myself and five children two dogs

Size of motorhome aprox 23ft long and 10ft wide n still loads of room on pitch

Liked: Clean, tidy, and well presented site. We had a fully serviced pitch and had no issues. Didn’t need to top up the electric for our four day stay. Reception were kind and friendly.

Nice site for easy travel to Ingomels and Skegness beach front. Would happily stay here again

Liked: Nothing as my holiday was spoilt before it began

Disliked: Arrived as a late arrival at the site reception was closed there was a number on door to ring which i cudnt get throught for about 45 mins when i finally did the security man said i will b with u soon as i can which ended up been another half hour finally he got to me to to tell me i can let u in but u want be able to leave tonyt as we have no key card for u so i saud how are we ment to get get sum shopping and stuff so he rang his manager as they said theres nwt they can do as theres no key card left in your box number for u to come and go as u please so what we can do is let u in get set up and I will let u out to go shopping and u will have to leave your car outside near reception for the nyt which i want happy about at so all we cud do is get in and get set up and do as they say as we had waited long enuff.then the next morning I went to the office to let them no everything to b told booking.com had taken my money but not let them no I was arriving late so theres nothing we can do i will never stay there again now.

Liked: Perfect site booked last minute around 9am arrived 1pm the same day. Asked if there was a possibility of a quite pitched as my son has autism and they were able to accommodate this for us as such short notice and despite the campsite becoming busy they still kept us away from anyone else. Facilities were spotless. We loved it so much we get staying extra nights.

Disliked: Love it all

Liked: Large level pitches. Pitches are in secluded sections. Very helpful staff. Good location. Peaceful and quiet. Toilet and shower blocks nice and clean. Due to the combined length of our caravan and car we couldn't manoeuvre onto our allocated pitch. Site staff allocated us to a more suitable pitch with no problem.

Disliked: Nothing

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pitches: a £20.00 deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 15/03 and 31/10.
