Disliked Had an unfortunate event and asked for the site to change my date. They wanted me to pay an unreasonable amount considering what I had already paid and were still going to charge out for my pitch again. I would understand the amount they asked for if the pitch would not get used but they even phoned me asking if I still wanted to cancel as someone wanted to book but still expected the unfair extra payment.

Liked Pitches were a good size and these areas were well looked after.

Disliked The toilets and shower area were not always clean.

Liked Piches were very good,plenty of space,tidy,
Staff were lovely.

Disliked The fact your electric can go off at anytime if you go over the £5 daily allowance.which ours did,early hrs of morning.
Lots of noise from busy road.
Was not a cheap weekend break,extra payments for electric,wifi to pay for if needed.

Liked Proximity to town, close enough to walk in but far enough to be quiet. Lovely clean and tidy site

Disliked Our pitch was closed to the busy A158 (just the other side of the hedge) so it was a bit noisy

Liked Excellent staff and clean site with good services.

Disliked Washrooms had a bad smell on the Sunday but a lot better after the cleaning team had been in. Push button showers 🤬

Liked Good site, easy walk into Skegness, enjoyed the site and l come once a year.

Disliked Main road traffic noise is loud and phone signal is a bit hit and miss.

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
