Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

  • Touring park a couple of minutes' drive from Skegness beach
  • Spacious family-friendly site; pets welcome too
  • Secure site with well-equipped touring pitches
Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Great pitches with electric and water points, also grey water drain on pitch . Nice play area for our Grandchild. Clean facilities. About 40min walk into Skegness or catch the bus just outside the entrance to site. April offer too, stayed 3 nights for price of 2. Bargain.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked E.g good spacious pitches. Easy to hookup. Check in was quick and straight forward.

Disliked Shower timer was short, a longer shower between presses would be more beneficial.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Location, site layout, friendly staff, good sized, serviced pitch, the overall space even though it was Easter weekend; didn’t feel squashed in, electric was included in price and we didn’t have to top up, shower room was welcoming, small shop with bits and bobs. Aldi, Tesco and B and M down the road

Disliked Some pitches are near to a very busy road so expect some traffic noise.
The site was lovely, but remained a little untidy throughout our stay (bins overflowing, rubbish spilling out onto the roads around the site, bits people had left behind left on the pitches (pipes, rubbish etc)

Unfair policies from a large company. Smaller sites were more helpful.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Nothing

Disliked Had an unfortunate event and asked for the site to change my date. They wanted me to pay an unreasonable amount considering what I had already paid and were still going to charge out for my pitch again. I would understand the amount they asked for if the pitch would not get used but they even phoned me asking if I still wanted to cancel as someone wanted to book but still expected the unfair extra payment.

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
