Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (lake view)

Liked Loved the views of lake & the peace & tranquility. Shower blocks & toilets very clean & well maintained. Overall lovely quick 2 night break will return. Public bus stop 10 min walk away perfect but also walked to Skegness once for those more adventurous about 70 mins walk. Used a cab on Saturday night it was only £8

Disliked Shame about the duck poo all over you are literally stepping out of awning into it but just keep shoes on but they are lovely to watch the little family’s walking around & quite friendly bunch of ducks lol

Local attractions

Most folk coming to these parts angle to get to Skegness first, the famed seaside town with sandy beach, pier, many amusements and evening entertainment in clubs, bars and the Embassy Theatre. The Natureland Seal Santuary is in town too if you/the kids want to see some local nature; to see seals in the wild, the Donna Nook Natural Nature Reserve covers over six miles of salt marsh coastline between Grainthorpe Haven and Saltfleet. Around Skegness are Ingoldmells, most visited for its theme park Fantasy Island and its big indoor market, open seven days a week; the beach huts and sands of Sutton on Sea are to the north, and there's more of the same, along with another seal sanctuary, at Mablethorpe. Roach Farm Park is also a short drive from the traditional pubs and family-run shops of Lincolnshire town Burgh Le Marsh.
