  • Peaceful well-maintained site 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness beach
  • Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape 15 minutes’ drive
  • Dog-friendly pitches 10 minutes’ walk from pubs, a shop and station
Can’t choose between a stay in the Lincolnshire countryside or taking time out by the sea? No need to make any difficult decisions if you book in at Grange Farm Campsite. This peaceful, family-friendly site is set on a neatly landscaped plot 10 minutes’ drive from the beach at Skegness, and just 15 minutes from the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. To pinpoint it exactly, the site is on the outskirts of Wainfleet All Saints, a historic market town that was once a busy port on Steeping River; today it has a healthy quota of pubs, cafés and takeaways as well as a convenience store all within 10 minutes’ walk of your pitch. Other local amenities include the railway station – handy if you prefer to travel on public transport – a bike-hire shop and a brewery open for tours and tastings. On site, the facilities extend to two well-equipped toilet and shower units plus a washing-up and food-prep area. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on leads when at your pitch as there are cows in nearby fields. Whether you're bringing a dog or not, there’s a selection of decent walks in the locality, either along quiet lanes or the banks of the Steeping.

What customers say

Visitors praise this well-maintained site for its spacious, level pitches and proximity to Wainfleet village amenities, including shops, pubs, and public transport to Skegness. Reviewers frequently highlight the clean and modern toilet and shower blocks, with many noting the helpful and friendly owners/managers. While some found the facilities adequate, a recurring theme is the desire for more shower/toilet blocks, particularly during peak times. Overall, the site is considered quiet, peaceful, and good value for money, with many visitors expressing a desire to return.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Lovely quiet site, very clean and spacious pitches, toilet/shower block immaculate with heating, plenty of taps scattered around the site for fresh water supplies, local co-op, two pubs and a chinese takeaway within a ten minute walk from the site, small train station in the village to Skegness every hour, ten minute train ride. Site manager Chris absolutely lovely, met us on arrival, was on hand for any issues if needed. There were kids and dogs but the site was quiet from 10pm. Would highly recommend this site, and we will be back later in the year.

Disliked Unable to use air-fryer for cooking as it kept tripping the electric, but we are newbies to camping so we are learning as we go.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Large hard standing pitch with grass either side of each plot giving lots of room between campers.
Campsite is very peaceful and a short walk to two pubs, a coop and the train station where we got a 10min train to Skegness.
This is our second long weekend here and we will be back.
Additional toilet block meant there was no queueing for the loo!

Disliked Only one shower in the toilet block but wasn’t too busy while we were there.
No wifi which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for others.

Local attractions

The Lincolnshire coastline has much to offer, from the pleasure rides and sandy beach at Skegness (10 minutes’ drive) to the rescued seals at the Natureland Seal Sanctuary (15 minutes) or bracing strolls through the dunes at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (20 minutes). If that’s not enough to keep the kids happy, then they probably need a day on the rollercoasters at beachside Fantasy Island amusement park (25 minutes). Other family-friendly attractions include Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (15 minutes), where you can feed the cheerily coloured parrots and get up close to big cats. The speed freaks in your party might prefer watching stock car and banger racing at Skegness Raceway (20 minutes). There are numerous walking options in the gorgeous and undulating Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape (15 minutes), taking in gentle strolls around pretty market towns packed with antique shops like Louth (40 minutes) and Market Rasen (55 minutes), or following more strenuous routes along the long-distance Lindsey Trail or Viking Way. The region also offers more than 520 miles of cycling tracks – more than enough for even the keenest of bikers.
